Waterfront holiday rentals in Texas City

Visit in mid-June was great! Beach not too crowded. Beautiful accommodations and loved the kitchen! Host was clear on instructions to make our stay perfect! I would definitely book again.

Tracy’s place was everything I hoped it would be. Very peaceful . very clean and welcoming. Whatever you may need in the kitchen, it’s there. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on the balcony watching the fish jump out and the birds flying by. Perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening night cap. Great location for visiting family. Only 10 minutes away, if that. Next visit, we will stay there again. We found our home away from home. Tracy is friendly and quick to respond . She is an excellent host!

The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They sent a list of things my son might like to do once we arrived at the condo, and followed up to ensure everything was going well.

Very cozy place. Felt like home. Great location. Crossing Seawall Blvd to get to the water was easy and could be done with small children. Douglas is a great and prompt communicator. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay and the convenience to the beach very much.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay here! It was exactly what we wanted and more and we will certainly be returning to stay again. Daniel and Sam were very helpful and provided a clean and beautiful space for us. Balcony had a great view of the ocean and the location was a very short walk to the beach. Totally recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing trip!

This was our second stay at this unit. Daniel and Sam are wonderful hosts—kind and communicative throughout. The unit itself is very clean and beautifully maintained, with stunning beach views from the balcony. Highly recommended! We would love to return in the future.

Trey is an excellent host!! He is very responsive to any questions. The house is lovely, and the backyard view is wonderful!! Perfect for a small family, or a couples getaway.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect layout for 4 adults and 2 kids. One of the nicer airbnbs I have stayed at. Great location - far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go into town too. Very convenient market down the street for any items you may have forgotten. I would stay here again!

This house is AWESOME!! and Ms. Mandy is a GREAT host!! The only small issue we had was the hot tub would not get that warm. However, my family and friends had a WONDERFUL time!! We will love to stay here again!!!

Great home. Great amenities. The host really helps you settle in to what’s in the community which is a great benefit and stress relief! We got the golf cart rental and beach umbrella/chair set up so this made it even better. Access right onto the beach with the golf cart. We caught a ton of fish at the recommend neighborhood spots and went back and forth from beach to fishing and also enjoyed the kayaks! Can’t wait to stay again next year.

This house is fully equipped with everything you might need for your trip, including extra cleaning supplies, paper products, and spare batteries. It's clear that this is a home, not just a rental property. Our group of seven adults had ample space for everyone to enjoy their own privacy. We absolutely loved the location! The sunrises and sunsets viewed from the deck are truly breathtaking, and the constant sound of the ocean was amazing. I highly recommend this house for large groups or adults, especially because of the king-sized bedrooms. My only suggestion would be to add another TV in the fourth bedroom. Overall, this place deserves 5 stars, and I would definitely stay here again!

Jam’s place is well cared for and accurately depicted in the photos. If or when in the area, we’d booked again. Pluses: The place is spacious in the common areas, with 5 larger TVs total in the home; two in the kitchen/living room area, and one in each if the 3 bedrooms, and all with streaming services available. Updated fridge snd stove/oven and ceiling fans in every room. Pleased place was generously stocked with paper goods, towels, washcloths, bed linens, extra mattresses, plus an updated washer and dryer set. My husband and daughter fished off the private pier and my daughter caught her first large crab. Good to know: Car parking was easiest using the covered lower patio/gated car port area. The lockbox on the front gate is ONLY to access the keys for the garage, which is also well stocked with a grill and includes a half bath (so convenient when/if hanging out down stairs). P.S. The garage keys only work on the smaller back door off the covered patio.

The place is amazing the only problem is the dishes was not clean and the shower wasn’t clean the tub on both bathrooms was dirty

We stayed for 3 nights (5people) we were impressed with the cleanliness. There were plenty of towels, laundry worked well as did the rest of the appliances in the kitchen. Only thing that would have been nice were some mixing bowls or tupperware/baking dishes. House was stocked with decent quality toilet paper, paper towels laundry detergent, dish soap, plenty of trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. The view is gorgeous and Jeff was very kind on the phone when I called to adjust my reservation to include more people. Would highly recommend this spot. The game room was helpful since the weather didn’t cooperate during our visit. The staff in the office was very friendly as well. Thanks Jeff!

Terra and Darin’s place was absolutely perfect for our little girls getaway trip. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and had easy access to parking AND the beach. And it was VERY well stocked. Communication was fast and they even allowed us a little leeway on the arrival time. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beachfront unit in the Galveston area.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Perfect view of the beach from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and super quiet. Very relaxing stay.

Location was fabulous, the condo was perfect for 3 adults and a toddler. Wendy had everything we needed except for food and drink. She even had coffee with sugar and creamer at the ready! Wendy notified me prior to check in that the cleaner reported the fold out bed in the couch had a broke leg and was willing to have a replacement delivered the same night! I declined as it wasn’t necessary for us and we wouldn’t need that extra bed. She was prompt with communication and was clear with check in and check out instructions. Front office was friendly and actually had affordable laundry soap so I didn’t have to make another trip to Walmart which btw is walking distance! The pools were fabulous and the condo is right outside the more kid friendly pool. Elevator was broke by our room but we managed. We could have used one on the opposite side but it wasn’t terrible for us. This is located on the top floor (4th floor) definitely keeping this gem saved! Great first time A-BNB experience! ❤️

Condo This condo was exactly as described, with interior photos accurately reflecting its clean and inviting atmosphere. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of puzzles and games, including Rummikub. Its prime location next to Walmart made grabbing groceries for quick breakfasts a breeze, perfect for fueling up before our beach soccer tournament. The kids absolutely loved the bunk beds! A truly great stay, and we'll definitely look to book this space again. Property The Victorian boasts an unbeatable location directly across from the beach. Check-in was seamless at the main office, providing clear instructions, gated parking, and reliable Wi-Fi. The outdoor shower was a convenient bonus for rinsing off after sandy beach days.

Beautiful condo in a fantastic location for the beach. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was very accurate to the description given. Host was very responsive and gave great instructions for everything from how to get in to how to work the shower. Would 100% recommend to family or friends.

David was very prompt to messages and we were able to check in early. I felt like he really cared about making our last minute get away great. The condo is exactly as described and a nice spot for my husband and I to unwind. You can't go wrong with this little hideaway. Jody and Michael
