Our spacious chalet is located on the beautiful island of Texel. The chalet has 3 bedrooms and a large living room. A separate toilet and a spacious shower. Our chalet is located on nature reserve De Slufter, a beautiful area that has been given back to nature and is therefore different every day. Our decent house right next to the Waddendijk will be available for rent from April 2019. The huge garden is surrounded by a ditch. On the other side are the sheep. At the rear of the property are fruit trees. From there, it is wonderful to stare at the birds in the adjacent nature reserve. At night it is dark outside and at best a clear starry sky shines. Inside, the house is spacious, comfortable and also very cozy. It can accommodate 6 guests and has 2 bathrooms.

On the West side of the island near the woods and the beach with an free view over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Rabbits, buzzards, harriers and owls regularly visit Heidehof. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starlit sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the log fire in the fireplace.

During the day you can enjoy the wonderfully large and sunny garden which is completely covered by natural vegetation.

At the edge of the dunes, along the Texelse Postweg, is De Postkeet. A small, characterful place to land, slow down and enjoy the view — of the landscape and on the day. You won't find a rush here. Only wind through the helmet grass, coffee in the morning sun and a sunset you see nowhere else.
