Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Texel

Lovely nature cottage, close to the sea and Midsland in peace and equipped with every comfort, highly recommended!

Probably the best AirBnB we‘ve been to in the Netherlands! Absolutely amazing renovated traditional house that felt cosy and right at home. We were 4 adults and one child (aged 8). The hosts were kind enough to set an extra bed for my daughter, which was very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. We didn’t miss anything. Very quiet and private location and beautiful surroundings. The garden is very peaceful and there is even a water channel at the back! We‘re absolutely looking forward to staying here again soon.

This was our second time staying at the apartment and we really enjoyed our time there. The two of them have a wonderful property, which they have lovingly designed and maintained. A great place to relax and a great starting point for day trips. This won't be the last time we've been there. (:

We had come with our dog. A nice clean apartment, in the evening you could turn on the fireplace. Really great. Of course there was also central heating available. Beautiful bathroom with shower. Jur was very helpful and friendly. There were delicious fresh eggs from their own chickens on arrival. Small cute sheep and a great chicken coop is there. Everything was just right and was great. Very nice neat cottage with a convenient location on Terschelling! The cottage was incredibly complete and communication with Henk went smoothly.

We stayed in the area for the first time and chose the place due to the beautiful place. We had a wonderful 5 days. There was everything you needed, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The location is absolutely fantastic, lots of privacy and you walked quickly to the beach and the city. We will definitely come again! Absolute heart recommendation.

What a fantastically beautiful place. Wonderful in nature, beautiful blooming garden and tranquility everywhere. Welcoming, full of comforts, fresh flowers in the rooms, distilled water, really everything was there. Should even stay a little longer. In short, fantastic!

Alex and Liz are very friendly people, who respond super quickly. They will receive you with open arms! The apartment is located on a beautiful property with a large garden where there is sun all day, with nice sunbeds and picnic benches. It is wonderfully quiet and quiet. The apartment itself has all the comforts and the bed is very comfortable. The shower is also very nice. We highly recommend this place!

I did not meet Cobbie but his 2 sons. They are adorable. Really exotic experience. Thank you for the lovely welcome from start to finish. Large spacious room with a great view and good breakfast included. Recommended

What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

The apartment is small but nice has everything you need. Thildy and her husband are super friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast the first day and it was delicious and sumptuous. Especially our little one was thrilled with all the great toys, the trampoline and the hammocks in the garden. The surrounding area is great for bike rides or trips to the beach and dunes. Washing machine and towels cost extra, which we are not used to from AirBnB. But all toys are free and Thyldi helped us on a private issue, which was very kind. We had a really nice and relaxing time there!

We stayed in Hindeloopen during a weekend trip and booked a room with Sharino. The amenities were great, everything you needed was available and also super clean. We were also provided with a baby cot on request. Sharino was always easily accessible and gave us a detailed description of how to reach the apartment. Although it was in the attic it was superbly insulated, we did not notice anything from the heat. We're already considering whether we'll book next year. Although it is minimally located outside, you can still reach the harbor in five minutes by car. It's incredibly quiet for that.

Great place to stay, nice beds and furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Jan was very helpful and responsive. Only thing to take into account is payed parking in Harlingen (€10 for a day pass on nearby parking lot)

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

The price-performance structure is easy here. Simple and clean, everything you can expect for 4 beds in a mobile home. The location between Callantsoog and Groote Keeten is ideal. The description is suitable for the property. We felt very comfortable here on a long weekend and very welcome from Kady!

We had a wonderful few days at Jody and Huib's beautiful place. The chalet is fantastically located – both the sea and the IJsselmeer can be reached quickly, and some places worth seeing in the area can also be easily accessed. The accommodation was sparkling clean and superbly equipped – there was really everything you need for a comfortable stay. There were useful utensils in the kitchen, and even in the bathroom everything was thought of – perfect in case you forgot something. The rooms are very tasteful and decorated with a lot of love for detail – you feel welcome from the first moment. The private garden access was ideal for our dog who could move freely there. However, the absolute highlight was the direct water access with private area – simply fantastic. We will be happy to come back and can highly recommend the accommodation as well as the hosts Jody and Huib:)

Wonderfully comfortable chalet! Good beds, easy to heat, nice sofa and table, attractively decorated.

We were 3rd for the first time together with a dog in the Netherlands. The house with garden is just like in the pictures very nice, clean and due to the orientation away from the street you don't get anything. Also, the area is extremely quiet which was perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beach is a few minutes' walk away. Alkmaar is 30 km away and ideal for a trip. Willeke also responded directly to my inquiries and called easily on the day of arrival, which helped us a lot. It was a perfect break for us and we will be happy to come back.

The cabin is simply a dream in the middle of the countryside! So lovingly made and you can relax so wonderfully and let your mind wander. Just as beautiful as in the photos, so definitely recommended! It is wonderfully quiet, but you can also be in the next town in a few minutes. The apartment is clean and cozy and you have what you need. I'm sure we'll be back! Judith and Juul are so nice and helpful, that's not a given! :)

If you want to stay overnight in the Plattenland, this is absolutely recommended. The description already indicated that it is “back to the basics” staying overnight, so you should definitely take that into account. The chalets are simple but cozy, with a kitchenette, water heater with tap water and heating for a pleasant temperature. The plumbing is in a shared space, and while it is not luxurious, everything is functional with simple showers and toilets. The absolute highlight? Each chalet has its own jacuzzi with views over the country. You can also make your own campfire, although you have to arrange wood yourself. The only thing to take into account is that the chalets are next to each other and the path to the shared sanitary facilities runs along the chalets. So there is no complete privacy and tranquility. But that doesn't take away from this great experience of staying “on the farm”, where you wake up in the morning with a view over the countryside and the day starts in your own jacuzzi

The blokhut and the garden are very beautiful. We enyoed our time.

The cottage is very nicely decorated, cozy and provided everything we needed. We particularly liked the small garden, at the end of which a sheep meadow begins. We were there by car and made various excursions, e.g. to Harlingen (very pretty port town) and Tescherling (beautiful island). In Den Oever itself, you can walk wonderfully on the dyke. A large supermarket is not far and there is a delicious fish shop by the harbor that was always well attended. We enjoyed our time very much and were able to relax very well. We will be happy to come back!
