Guests will have access via the gates of Clarance House where they will find their own hidden entrance. The Gate Cottage has recently been renovated and consists of a cosy lounge and kitchen on the top floor overlooking the beautiful Thaxted Church. On the ground floor is a plush bedroom with King size 4 poster bed and a shower room/WC just across the hall.

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Airport transfers available. We are in a rural location so a car may be needed. If you would like to book the night before your wedding, please contact me to confirm the details. beautiful village annex Great local pub

Stylish decor and a charming place to stay. Annex to a thatched cottage in a beautiful village with own its front door and parking. Spacious and comfortable bedroom, king size bed, extra seating, fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Good wifi and smart TV. spacious ensuite shower room. Underfloor heating throughout. Local pub is very welcoming and serves lovely food. station 5 mins, market town of saffron walden 10 mins, Stansted airport 15 mins and Cambridge 30 mins drive. we have 2 dogs.
