Bungalow holiday rentals in The Bahamas

It was beautiful to walk in the front door and see the blue Caribbean water through the back windows. We saw dolphins one morning during breakfast. While close to the road, you heard none of it from the back porch or on the beach. The house is filled with thoughtful and useful amenities. We left the marine chart book a little worse from wear on a day we rented a small skiff to explore off islands. The unit as well equipped for cooking, with utensils and dishwasher etc. The smaller your rental car the better. You want to pull in and pull out in a forward direction, which requires a tight little three-point turn under a coconut tree. Our RAV4 just made it.

This was the perfect little white house for a couple looking to get away. Right on the beach, and close both Bachus and Tippys. The kitchen was well stocked, with a full sized fridge and stove. It even had a large coffee maker, instead of the usual kureg. I was impressed. The linens and towels were clean and plush. The living area was comfortable, with a sofa suitable for an afternoon nap. I really was a great get-away place. Not to large, but large enough.

A simply beautiful and stunning oasis of peace away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Beautiful and tranquil space and very friendly and helpful host. Felecia drove us to and from the airport, as well as to and from the local market. It was a serene location that we look forward to visiting in the future!!

We had such a beautiful and peaceful stay. The property is beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed the pool which was heated! We also enjoyed walking out on the secluded beach right outside the bungalow. We saw 1 other person on the beach the whole week we were there! We made a lot of our meals in the kitchen which had all of the basics and everything that we needed. The bungalows are a perfect oasis and we loved our stay!

Nikki and Patrick’s place was amazing! It was a beautiful location and so perfect for our vacation!

Larry & Nancy’s villa was perfect for our first trip to Exuma. The Hideaways property is centrally located & the shuttle service was great. The villa was very clean and was supplied with everything we needed. Larry & Nancy were very attentive & quick to respond with answers to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

What can I say about this slice of paradise?! The hosts are amazing, the location is of my dreams, on the sand, and super chic, clean and cozy! Most comfortable house on the beach with all the amenities of home - clean bedding, extra towels, water, all you need in the kitchen, beach chairs, honor bar, pool, and PINK SAND! AMAZING! Can’t wait to visit again!

Andre's location is amazing. The view is absolutely stunning - we loved this house, although could use some TLC; however, the kitchen is fully equipped, so we were able to do some cooking. This house is very spacious and we really appreciated having 2.5 bathrooms. This house comes with a cooler and LOTS of towels, as well as a washing machine - you hang clothes to dry, which is easy peasy and dries quickly in the Exuma heat. We had difficulty finding this house when we first arrived, as the US sim cards we purchased did not work and Andre was also having difficulty with his internet - we should have asked for location instructions the day before. Heads up to our fellow Canadians - as Canadian travelers with our dollar being so low, we found it VERY expensive everywhere. We would still love to return here in the future- you cannot beat this chill island and Andre's location is very central - he is also local so gave us some great tips and was always available to answer our question.

The goal for our stay in the Bahamas was to relax as a family and unplug. Kevin and Opal's home was the perfect spot for us. Their home is so clean, and the hosts are so responsive. A highlight of our trip was sitting out on the back patio looking at the pool with lights hanging from the palm trees. The ocean was walkable from the house. We had fantastic food at local restaurants, all according to Opal's suggestions. What stood out to our family was the extra touches there for us. Opal greeted us with a cake and provided all we needed for breakfast for our whole trip. Kevin gave us coconuts and sugar cane, which was a hit in our family. There are speakers throughout the entire property, so we could connect our music while swimming or playing pool in the game room. If you are debating which Airbnb to choose in the Bahamas, pick this one. We will look back on this vacation as one of the best spots we have stayed. The house was so clean, and there was plenty of space for our family.

Very close to the airport and almost everything is walking distance. They do rent out golf carts which makes it a little easier with summer heat. They also do a boat tour you can get in on at a discounted rate since you stay with them, which hits all the Exuma highlights to include the grotto, pigs, iguanas, snorkeling over the local plane crash site, sand bar photo ops, Compass cay nurse sharks. Highly recommend!

You can walk to Moss Town beach and enjoy. It’s very close to the airport. The house is spacious and had multiple TVs and WiFi to unwind after a day. Having the comfort of a full home was great. The owner was very accommodating and responded to text quickly.

This was the most beautiful beach front rental we've ever had. I'd challenge you to find something more jaw dropping GHC is a bit challenging to navigate at first but VJ really helped us figure out the island. We would have had a terrible experience had it not been for him The host, Yarlene, was not a great communicator. This may be due to a language barrier but there's a clear reason for having VJ as the acting host The house was everything we needed and had all the expected amenities. Things are getting a little beat up Access to groceries on the island are limited but did not stop us from getting what we needed for the bare essentials. Make sure to call ahead to any of the restaurants to ensure they're open. Best to make a reservation Jolie at the Native Hut on the main road was an absolute delight! Great food and super reliable

My wife and I just came back from a magical stay at Fountain Bay! A representative from the resort (the awesome Wendy) met us at the airport and helped us settle in, providing great advice on things to see and do while we were there. The property itself is in a beautiful location with an amazing beach literally right outside our well-equipped bungalow. The online pictures do not do this place justice. The water is crystal clear, and we saw a lot of sea turtles, fish and other marine life. We explored nearby bays and areas on kayaks that are available to guests (at no extra charge). We also rented a car on a couple days to check out the rest of the island. Cat Island, while off the main tourist path, has some of the most beautiful, secluded beaches we have ever seen. Highly recommend visiting and staying at Fountain Bay! We will be back!

Our stay at Exuma Bungalow was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, Our hosts made us feel right at home. While our bungalow was getting a new a/c unit we were treated to a weekend in bungalow 2 which was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly situated just steps away from the crystal-clear waters of Exuma. Waking up to sunrise yoga on our private deck to the sound of waves then sipping coffee on the porch was a dream come true. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and gave amazing local recommendations—from boat tours to hidden beaches and the best places to eat. The bungalow was adorable and had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, cold A/C, and a perfect kitchenette. It was the perfect blend of cozy and convenient. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views and true island charm, Exuma Bungalow is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!
