Family-friendly holiday rentals in The Bahamas

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

Was a great place to stay for my family of 3. It was a great size, functional and in a great location. Elise was very responsive with any questions we had. Hoping to come back someday!

The pictures of this listing do not do it justice as to how beautiful the outdoor space is. the home is a bit of a maze but amazing. we had a amazing time and would definitely recommend.

Sandra and Philip were very friendly and their home was perfect for our family of 5. The pool was clean and was the perfect place to relax after a long day in the sun. Their pup was an added bonus! Would whole heartedly recommend anyone with a family to stay.

It’s the day before we leave and the most important thing we want to say is thank you and we don’t want to leave. We won’t bore you with our adventures although they were awesome. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary finally without our kids or grand kids. We needed this break and we love it here. For years we have searched for the perfect the perfect beach: all over Florida, USVI, BVI, Mexico, and Jamaica… the bar is now set. Exuma is the best. Tar bay beach is beautiful. The gazebo was wonderful. We really enjoyed the seclusion, the plants, the pool, the house set up, and all of your property. We will be back. Thank you for hosting. Our flight was delayed and we got in very late, we were still met at the villa and then the next day met again to show us around in the daylight!

The condo is super close to the pool, the resort is right across the street if you felt like walking. We rented a golf cart through Nate, it was great to get around the island. Would definitely stay here again, Bimini is a beautiful place to visit!

Sonja's place was exactly as described. It was the perfect accommodations for our family. The beautiful landscaped yard and the pool was so enjoyable to relax in. Sonja was very helpful and even met us to check in. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the Bahamas. 10/10!

This is our 3rd stay at Lo Key Villa and it did not disappoint! The separate upper and lower levels are perfect for a group trip (especially with kids). The space is clean, AC and fans worked well, and we felt safe. The washer/dryer worked and felt clean. The kitchen has enough supplies (and a great blender). The host, James, was responsive and helpful too! The proximity to CocoBay is insane - instant activities for kiddos or relaxing away from the excitement of feeding turtles and stingrays. We loved taking out the kayaks for a peaceful adventure. This home will always have a special place in our hearts. Can’t wait to return!

Brendan is a great host, quickly responds to any inquiries and does a pulse check during the stay. He gives detailed instructions and recommendations. He is accommodating and flexible. The condo was exactly as described. It is a very private spot just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Felt very safe in the area.

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

A fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The pool was a real highlight, especially in the Bahamian heat. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout, making everything seamless from check-in to departure. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

This was our family’s second trip to Long Island and our second time staying at Atil’s. We loved every minute of our time on the island and at Atil’s home. The location of this house is truly perfect…it’s amazing to be able to walk to Dean’s Blue Hole. The house also includes so many wonderful additions like a kayak, clear kayak, and beach chairs. Our three boys (1, 3, and 6) love the closet full of toys, playing in the yard, and running up and down the giant veranda. It’s a perfect house for a family! Atil is an incredibly generous and attentive host. He truly tries to take care of the people who stay at his house. Thank you, Atil, for another wonderful trip! We can’t wait to return!

Do not second guess this unit is so beautiful,peaceful,clean and safe you would not regret it. I most certainly will book again and again.

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

Beautiful, spacious, spotless, well equipped e.g. kitchen. Justin met us at the house and explained all. He made helpful recommendations about local stores including the excellent Farm store at Palmetto point. Be prepared for price sticker shock for everything apart from rum! Be sure to look up specific directions to house. Key location ID is turning off next to Working Mens' Hostel, now a police HG, on Queen's highway. There is a lot of helpful info in binders and books in the house. Essential to rent a car. We used Wilton car rentals in Governor's Harbour. They brought our car to Eleuthera airport (ELH). Very responsive. It would have been a distinct plus if the pool had been a bit larger, but we visited beautiful beaches within 15-20 mins by car. Pascal's has a great pool and offers excellent Bahamian lunches. The local Bahamian people are absolutely wonderful-very friendly and most helpful. We had a very successful week long family vacation. We highly recommend this property

We had a fabulous time at this house. The photos do not do the views and the area around it justice, it is so much better than you think! The beach is a 30 second walk, and was pristine and almost empty always! The Poop Deck next door had great food and drinks (and service!) and the private dock with sunbeds by the pool where you can access the ocean is like your own personal paradise. The staff and security in the neighborhood were all very lovely and helpful. If I come back to the Bahamas I’ll be staying here! Thanks so much!

A gem in paradise. Great location right on the canal. Beautiful, clean codo with beautiful views. Host was very accommodating, friendly and answered all questions quickly. Plenty of room for my party of 6. Can’t wait to stay there again next year. Highly recommend

Nadia's place was perfect for our family of 4. Comfortable space, well stocked supplies for cooking in the kitchen (and thanks for the arrival snacks!), a nice back deck to eat on (with chairs and fold up table), and easy access to Love beach and the pool. Thankful for the provided beach mats and umbrella, we utilized them at the other beaches nearby (Jaws, Adelaide) and made good use of our rental car, hitting many further parts of the island (Downtown, Paradise Island, etc). It was always nice to come back to the quiet west end at the end of the day. The hosts are impeccable - communicative & easy to converse with, willing to provide recommendations (which we enjoyed!), flexible in our check out time due to a later flight, and when we had one issue with internet, they provided a work around immediately. This is a great spot.

Great stay and EXCELLENT host!

The location was incredible just steps from the water, peaceful and private, yet close to everything we needed. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with all the essentials. Waking up to the ocean breeze and ending the day with a sunset view from the balcony was unforgettable. Truly a hidden gem can’t wait to come back!

John's place is truly heaven on earth. Walk outside and right into the beach and ocean. The beds, rooms, amenities were all fantastic. The site manager was very quick to respond to inquiries. If you come here and you want to explore, I highly recommend you rent a car (we did). It is on the quieter side of the island which was a welcome benefit. We would certainly come back.
