Holiday rentals with lake access in The Bronx

We had a wonderful holiday weekend at the lake house. The views and outdoor space are breathtaking. It is so wonderful for adults and kids. The house looks just like the photos, it was comfortable and clean. Owners are responsive, kind and always gave us suggestions on what to do each day in the area. We highly recommended staying here and would gladly stay again!

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. We had all the comforts of home and more. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were placed just perfect to have privacy. We used the guide book that was arranged so that we would know where the best grocery stores were and other amenities. Thank you for such perfect accommodations!

Excellent stay at this property over the New Year's holiday. The house is in a great location on a quiet street and has a beautiful view of the lake. The space was great for our family with two children - plenty of sleeping space / arrangement options and comfortable to relax inside or out. Can easily accommodate a larger family or group without feeling overcrowded, despite the single bathroom. Santino is a great host with quick communication and everything went smoothly. We will definitely be back to this property in our future stays to NJ!

We had a lovely stay at this house! The view was beautiful and it was surround by great restaurants. We wished we were able to come during a warmer month to enjoy the outdoor section and the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property with 5 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 and 12). The place is nice and clean, kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, bathrooms had toothbrushes and travel sized toiletries. Each bedroom had water bottles and the rooms were very spacious, the sectional couch in the living room was huge and comfy! Yariv was very quick to respond to any questions we had which was highly appreciated. The basement had lots of games for adults and kids of any age, including toddlers. We went during the Memorial Day weekend and on Memorial Day there is a parade that passes super close to the property, about a 45 second walk away, which was surprising and great, our kids really liked that! It's also very close to the Lakeview Marina, where we chartered a boat and went fishing. Overall it was a great weekend getaway for our family and we will surely be back at this property!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property! The pool was amazing, water features on the property really gave it an amazingly peaceful feeling. House was comfortable, with newer bathrooms and a wonderful kitchen. Highly recommend Jake, and this property!

Wonderful stay at this peaceful, beautiful lake house. The hosts were great in all communication and prep for our stay. Very accommodating and sincere. Response times were fast and thoughtful. Beautiful home and peaceful, clean lake. Well organized kitchen and very nice bedrooms. Upfront instructions and check out was a super breeze (no pressure to do a ton of chores like other places). My husband and I spent two pleasant nights at Halima’s place in Hillside. We were attending an event nearby and also have family in the area so the location worked great for us. It was easy to find with available on street parking. Having a pet friendly location was a must for this trip so that was a bonus. Our pups enjoyed the park that was just around the corner. The apartment was lovely,. It had plenty of space, was tastefully furnished and had beautiful house plants throughout. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom is on the small side but was super clean, as was the rest of the house. We really appreciated the clear directions and ease of checking in and out. This apartment met all of our needs and I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a few days while his dad was in the hospital. I’m so glad this place was available. Not only is it impeccably clean with all the essentials we needed to live and work remotely, but the view from the balcony was beautiful and so calming during a stressful time. We loved looking out at the creek and watching all the herons, geese, and other birds that would come through. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully for happier reasons next time.

Our stay at NYCliving in West New York was amazing! The apartment was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for our girls weekend. The location couldn’t have been better—super convenient for getting into the city, and surrounded by great restaurants and spots with stunning views of the NYC skyline. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located stay! The hosts were responsive and everything went so smoothly!

Ana was a great host, firstly the apartment smelled AMAZING and it was nice and cool, she had toiletries laid out and the bed was comfortable. The ambiance of the apartment was very welcoming and homey. Will definitely be back, thank you for the hosting.

Adham & Yossr's place is the perfect place to stay if you are flying into LaGuardia and don't want to rent a car. We were able to walk to Citi Field, Black Sheep Coffee & Amigo's Deli (both on Astoria Blvd - Amigo's has a GREAT chopped cheese hero), as well as catch a bus or walk to the subway station if you're looking to explore Manhattan, Brooklyn, LIC, etc. The apartment was clean, spacious and exactly as listed with clear check in/check out instructions. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood and even though it's by an expressway, you can't hear it. Comfortable bed and the shower was awesome. If we're ever back in Queens, we'll definitely book here again!

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

Wonderful home away from home. Clean, private and beautiful. Erica thought of everything and anything. I will be back to relax at this peaceful villa.

Peaceful surroundings, beautiful lake, wonderful house and amazing hosts! Had an absolute ball kayaking, fishing, and enjoying nature. This was my second trip and can’t wait to go back again.

Karla is an amazing host. From booking to checking out— everything was seamless and accommodating. Her place was very clean, well stocked with clean linens, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. The kitchen was also full stocked— prepared for any event or occasion. Her home was the perfect size for my family and we are very appreciative we were able to experience her warm hospitality and amazing home. Our stay was A++ and I would highly recommend for couples, small and/or large families in need of a peaceful and relaxing getaway immersed in nature.

I want to start by saying that the host is beyond kind. Jack is a stand up guy and the perfect host. I do not think we could have been more fortunate to choose this house. The backyard amenities are stunning. Sitting on the dock outside was incredible. A family of swans lives close to the house and we would watch them in the mornings. The hot tub was such a nice bonus. Jack clearly takes great care to ensure that his guests feel welcomed and at home and I could not appreciate his kindness any more than I already do. I truly can not wait to come back and stay again as this weekend was really one to remember. We thank you Jack for an amazing experience and we’ll see you again real soon!

A truly stunning architectural gem, like a mid-century modern treehouse floating above a pond. Comfortable bed, convenient layout, private and secluded, but close to so much. Do note: requires some steps that might be slippery when wet — but well worth it. Also: pay close attention to the directions, don't just trust the gps.
