Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Mijn modern en gezellig ingerichte appartement ligt in een leuke buurt in Den Haag Zuid. De duinen en het strand noem ik altijd mijn achtertuin ;-) De ligging is zeer centraal. In directe omgeving vind je gezellige lunchrooms, supermarkten, bars en diverse winkels. Het centrum van Den Haag is per fiets of met het openbaar vervoer zeer snel en makkelijk te bereiken. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een weekendje weg. Een langer verblijf en/of korting bij contante betaling is zeker mogelijk.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! Enjoy this monumental cottage located on the Vliet, right next to the bridge. The cottage is the living area of a former farm, used for years as a bridge guard post. The bridge is now operated remotely, so the cottage lost its function. Now it has become a lovely and wonderful place to enjoy life on the water.
