Our stay at this beautiful waterside home was nothing short of magical. The location is absolutely stunning — waking up to the gentle sounds of the water and enjoying coffee on the deck with that view was a dream. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing dolphins swimming right past the house! It was such a peaceful and unforgettable moment. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with love. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and offering great local tips. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene getaway by the water!

Insa was very responsive whenever we had any questions and attended to our needs immediately. Her place was spotless and cosy and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including small details like electric blanket to keep you warm in bed.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this apartment – it had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. The decor was modern and cosy, and the place was super clean. We loved how close it was to the Honeysuckle foreshore and Darby Street – perfect for dinners and a morning coffee run. The rooftop area was a lovely bonus too. The host made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Would happily come back next time we're in Newcastle!

We had a great time at Carly & Katie's place. It was exactly as described and very clean. The apartment has great views across the beach and parkland and is just a short walk into the heart of the city or over the road to the beach or foreshore parks and walks. There are great restaurants and cafes close by, and the renewed areas along the river are very close too. We'd highly recommend Carly & Katie's apartment as a great base for wonderful stay in Newcastle.

Adrian and Fiona's Home in Belmont, is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is also very spacious and perfect for a couple that needs a place to stay near Lake Macquarie and Belmont. There is a beautiful nature all around you if you have time to explore. The driveway to the airbnb is tight and there is no room to turn around at the end so reversing out is required. We had a large car so that was a bit tricky, especially as we were asked to stay on the driveway not the grass. Apart from that I would certainly recommend staying here and would stay again.

We absolutely loved our fabulous stay at the Cosy Urban Retreat! The home is beautiful and has everything you can imagine and more. Dealing with Louise was a delight. This beautiful home is in a great location, very cosy, stunning decor, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning/heating and the relaxing tranquil outdoor area is perfect. This gorgeous home is highly recommended and we look forward to returning soon. Thank you for having us Louise, absolute perfection 🥰

It can sometimes be the littlest things that make the biggest impact. Thats Bellinda and Tony. Right from the beginning I knew this would be a special stay. The Fairy Cottage was enchanting, magical - truly a hidden gem. Bellinda's communication was everything, she worked with us to help make our stay smooth and comfortable. Plus the extra touches of fresh farm eggs, wine, Scruffy, miniature goat feeds (my 3 month old laughed for the first time feeding goats), phone chargers, coffee, an amazing shower and best of all the magical fairy dust we all made a wish on as we blew it over the garden we so admired. I cannot wait to stay with them again on their little piece of paradise. Our stay with them will be a core memory and its because of Bellinda and Tony that it will be a treasured one.

Jason was an incredibly hospitable and communicative host, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming from start to finish. The house itself was spotless—clean, tidy, and well-presented—with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic essentials, which was a lovely touch and made settling in so easy. The space struck the perfect balance between cosy and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out whether you’re a family or a group of friends looking for a relaxing weekend away. It was the ideal base for our trip, and I’ll definitely be returning!

The location is perfect for a short getaway and very suitable for little kids. The house was very clean and has great amenities for kids. Renee is also very proactive with recommendations and the likes. We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.
