Holiday rentals with a kayak in Thiérache

This was our second stay at the property and it was a perfect location for our cycling holiday. The property is perfect for a cycling family, as there is plenty of secure storage for your bikes. The down stairs is completely open plan and very homely, perfect after a long hard cycle over the cobbles. A bonus is the shower is by the far the best! The town is only 5 minutes walk away with plenty of places to eat and drink. There are also plenty of local supermarkets, if you want to cook meals in. We would highly recommend this property as somewhere to stay, especially for cyclists. We plan to return again.

I had a pleasant stay at Michael's, the accommodation is very clean and functional. The village is very quiet, on the banks of the Aisne, very appreciable.

We had a lovely weekend at Servane's property. We really enjoyed the charm of this old house, very nicely decorated and everyone found their place there (14 people). We were also able to enjoy the beautiful garden which is a real haven of peace. The walking access to Amiens in 1 hour by the towpath along the Somme was a very nice discovery. Servane welcomed us warmly and was available before and during our stay. We would love to be able to come back!!

We had a lovely stay. What an environment! So peaceful and green :) The birds are singing, the rabbits are running in the meadow and Marty the donkey comes to say hello... what a change of scenery! The accommodation is very well equipped. The cleanliness is impeccable, in short, faultless! We'll be happy to go back! The city of Amiens is close: 25 minutes by car, the beach of Le Crotoy 45 minutes. You can either go on a city trip to the beautiful city of Amiens, or a trip to the beach or enjoy the exceptional setting of the property! The deck chairs on the terrace, the table, the parasol and the barbecue allow for beautiful moments outdoors :) The pond behind the garden allows us to enjoy it in complete privacy. Very few walkers, even fewer cars, this accommodation is the perfect place to disconnect and rest! The furniture is very qualitative, the renovation of the building is very successful. Old building with character and very well restored in the authentic country style. The 3 bedrooms upstairs that we occupied are very spacious with good bedding and each with bathroom and toilet, perfect for couples. The dining area on the ground floor has a very large table and the kitchen is very well equipped with small appliances. The terrace under the pergola is very well arranged and spacious but the weather did not allow us to enjoy it. Karine and Olivier, whom we did not have the opportunity to meet, were very responsive to our questions. We recommend this property!

Very nice cottage, decorated with taste and attention. Comfortable beds, beautiful garden. Everything you need is there. Super available host, who lives next door. A pretty village and a perfect base for visiting the Eure et Loir, 10 minutes from Chateau de Maintenon and 25 minutes from Chartres or Dreux.

Excellent stay in a beautiful private location in small valley on river. Super for kids of all ages, or older groups. Everyone very friendly and helpful

Heaven. What an amazing place to stay - lovely house, short walk from beautiful Montreuil if you can drag yourself away from the incredible garden! Absolutely gorgeous pool, pétanque, ping pong, table football and a garden the size of a field - the kids never wanted to leave. Guillaume’s parents welcomed us and were just truly lovely people, we really enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and apples from the garden. Thank you so much to Guillaume and his family for the most wonderful break.

The accommodation was great! We have enjoyed the beautiful location at the holiday home. The home was completely as in the pictures. The Bornem area is beautiful for biking and hiking. The jacuzzi on the terrace of the house overlooking the pond, was blissful after a long cycling day. Just a pity that we had to provide bed linen and towels ourselves. Thank you sooo much Tim!

Come to participate in the orchid exhibition at the Abbey of Vaucelles. The space is true to the photos and nicely furnished. Catherine is very kind. We had a lovely stay. The place is quiet and relaxing.

What a wonderful stay in Lan Aken! The place is super comfortable and equipped with every comfort, with the jacuzzi and sauna as highlights. I had asked if they could do something special for my girlfriend's birthday and they arranged that fantastically, really a surprise with care and attention. Absolutely recommended, we'd love to come back someday!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage is cozy and nicely decorated, making us feel right at home. With two adults and a baby, it was the perfect place to enjoy a carefree time. Everything we needed was there, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Rob is an incredibly friendly and helpful host, always easily accessible and willing to help. This cottage is undoubtedly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy stay!

An enchanted interlude in the middle of unspoiled nature, bathed by the presence of water (memorable boat ride, made available to us) and rocked by the song of (very many) birds... we felt like we were in the house of the tale Goldilocks and the 3 bears, a charming hut drowned in flowers. All a few hundred meters from the urban center... incredible! We'll be back of course!

Simple accommodation, with the essentials and above all nature nearby with beautiful walks to do on the banks of the Marne or in the forest. Very nice welcome!

Allowed to stay at this location for the long weekend. We know the cottages in this park from previous visits, but this cottage is really our preference! Very well thought out about the decor and using the space available in a good way. The bathroom is wonderfully spacious and the separate toilet room is also very pleasant. The placement of the kitchen also makes you have a lovely spacious kitchen where you can easily and very pleasantly work with connection to the nice seating area of the house. All this makes it a particularly pleasant cozy cottage and thus also makes it a very pleasant stay. Reason enough to come back here again if this matches our agendas and availability. Afterwards, I can only rate it as very positive.
