Ideal for walking at any time of the year or sunbathe on the sandy ‘beach’ in the summer months. There’s a nice circular walk (40 mins) around the lake and the Tern Cafe serves hot/cold food and drinks.

Frensham Great and Little pond are lovely on a hot day, though they do draw a crowd.

Great for walking ...a pond originally built by monks from Waverley Abbey
