This is a great way to see how folks used to live 100+ years ago in pre-wars (albeit well-off folks, not tenement dwellers.) People were TINY 100 years ago. And used gas-lit chandeliers. The kitchen and back yard are to die for.
Discover how the upper class lived in 19th-century NYC. Built in 1832, this former dwelling of a wealthy importer, is the only completely preserved 19th century family home in the city.
