Huge patio, a fun casual vibe, great margaritas / cocktails. We love their chips / guac / salsa, Walking Taco and various other tacos. Big whiskey / bourbon selection as well.

The tacos at Big Star are perfectly fine, but you’re really here for the space. Specifically the huge patio. It’s one of the best in the city - lively, perfect for day drinking, and dog-friendly, too.

Great place for tacos and cocktails. Amazing outdoor space. Fun and hip atmosphere. Right next to the North Ave/Damen/Milwaukee blue line train.

In the nearby hip neighborhood of Wicker park (still only 1.3 miles away). This place is a lively scene with a super cool bar and large outdoor patio making it a funky hipster hangout. Serving Mexican street food, it has great Margaritas and tacos. Regular chicken tacos, but all really cool stuff like tilapia and pork belly tacos. (If you go here, make sure you stop at the secret speakeasy Violet Hour across the street for a drink after.)

Whiskey/Tacos/Beer. Big star has some of the best of each at very reasonable prices and one of the very best patios in city. Heart of Wicker Park.
