Why locals recommend it
A weekly Sunday institution, from 10 am till 4 pm, just across the road from the beach. Purchase or people-watch—you’ll find fashion girls like me selling pre-loved clothes at an eighth of the original price, plus hand-loomed Turkish towels, delicate jewellery, and homewares epitomising Bondi’s easy style. Just add sea salt. Look out for a leather-goods stall hosted by a guy named Ben. You’ll recognise him by his two whippets, who accompany him everywhere. He sells in a select few local boutiques, and his leather goods are made from vintage leather to last a lifetime.
