Don't tell the owner, John, but I had no idea that this retro spice shop would even last a year. Boy, was I wrong! It's been a blow-out success. I'm an avid cook, and they always have what I need on hand--and they ship nationwide. Their gift boxes make great souvenirs and presents.

An excellent addition to Solano Avenue, just 1/2 block away. An opportunity to shop for culinary spices, herbs, house made blends, chiles, salts, peppercorns, DIY kits, gift boxes and more original supplies. Spices sold whole or freshly ground from the Oakland shop. Nice selection of interesting and novel gifts for your friends back home...in small packages.
