If you're in the mood to try some ethnic food from Ethiopia try this authentic restaurant. Try the Beef Tibs with a couple sides.

Ethiopic is another mainstay of the H Street area and serves phenomenal Ethiopian! Their Tibs, Kitfa, and honeyed wine are hard to top.

If you've never had Ethiopian food, this is the place to try it! It's delicious, and quite the authentic experience: you share a common dish (various flavorful stewed toppings arranged on a large piece of spongy bread called injera) and eat with your hands, using the bread to scoop your food. Prices are reasonable at around $15 per person, and the portions are large.
