This nice cafe offers Norwegian pastry, cozy atmosphere , local things for sale and a fantastic view to the majestetic mountain-chain that is opposite Ersfjorden Can reccommend a stroll along the beach in summer or winter or to enjoy the scenery from the terrace. About 20 min by car from Tromsø. You can also take route 42 from town or «Bjørnstrand» to «Eidkjosen» and then 425 to «Ersfjordbotn». In summer: if you want to walk to the top of «Nattmålstind» you need to stop just 1-2 km before Ersfjordbotn. When you see the football court and parking place, you can park there. Then walk on the path beside the court (the side closest to the ocean/Towards Ersfjordbotn) Then follow the path and the red marks on the stones, and «varder» up hill, to the top. Enjoy the view if the weather allows it. About 1-2 h walk to the top.

I recommend everyone to take a trip out to Ersfjord to see the beautiful scenery and see the magnificent mountains around. And visit the great cafe Bryggejentene. They have the world's best home-baked cinnamon buns. They also have an interior shop in the cafe. It is about 30 min and 20 km and drive from Tromsø city center to Ersfjord. It's worth the trip.

The place is worth the drive, especially on sunny days when you can sit outside on the pier. It's a bit pricy, but they have good coffee and pastries. They have items for sale as well, interior and such.
