Very welcoming atmosphere, home cooked food and a wonderful host! All the options were to die for and the environment was homey and made you feel like you were having a meal at someone's home!

This is my favorite restaurant in Istanbul, hands down. The food is homemade with fresh ingredients and the offerings are perfect for those inclined towards veggies (for the carnivores, the curry chicken and eggplant-wrapped meatballs are delicious, too). The decor is homey, the setting intimate, and the music relaxing and kept at a low volume. There are small tables for a couple's night-out and larger tables for group get-togethers. The owner treats her food and guests with utmost respect, which she also lavishes on all creatures of the four-legged kind.
