Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Thuringia

Niels is a good and very nice host who responds quickly to messages and with whom you can also chat nicely on site and receive tips for activities. The house is located in a quiet street and yet you can quickly reach the city, close to shopping or restaurants and just as quickly in the countryside. We had everything in the house that was needed and the retro charm of the decor, as well as the beautiful garden, we liked and both we and our dog had, despite the weather, a cozy and relaxing week, thank you for everything Niels and maybe again.

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and grill. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

We had three nights with a group of 10 and all participants were able to spend a relaxed time well accommodated. The view and the beautiful garden with child-friendly equipment were wonderful.

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! All as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in Haus Relax and will be very happy to come back.

We had a great short break in Ziegenrück. We liked the house even better in person than in the photos. The play and relaxation options in the garden leave nothing to be desired. Although the neighbors are not far away, the garden is private behind green hedges. We particularly liked that every detail was well thought out and every smallest space was used sensibly. Above all, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The beds were very comfortable, our son grabbed the bunk and slept blissfully in it. We have nothing to complain about and recommend the accommodation without reservation!

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

The apartment is very nice and lovingly furnished. It is bright and practical in terms of the room layout. The bathroom and kitchen have everything you need. The beds are high quality. Everything is very clean and in good condition. There are even various game collections in the cabinet. At the latest, the view of a large green courtyard and the spacious balcony promise a relaxing stay.

Our stay at Katja's place was pleasant. The space was clean and well-maintained, with new utensils that made meal preparation a breeze. The surrounding area was quiet, providing a restful environment. The host was responsive and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. A particular highlight for our young kid were the toys provided. However, it’s worth noting that the apartment is situated on the top floor, requiring several flights of stairs. Overall, a suitable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.

A very nice and quiet apartment to relax. Very pleasantly furnished. Anyone looking for relaxation in the Harz should come here. Communication with Stefanie was very easy and good. She always answered directly and helped.

We stayed with a family and it was beautiful and we could go see the horses and relax in the terrace and our visitor Paul 🐈‍⬛ was sooo cute! We came for a tournament but are looking to plan a real family holiday. It’s so beautiful and Sabine is so super friendly and helpful!

All-round successful stay also because I immediately felt at home. Everything was available and worked immediately, Alex was always available when I had questions and I was very happy about the helpful welcome package from Alex. The environment is pleasantly quiet and, in addition to be done, I was able to go on various hikes directly from the apartment. I'd love to come back!

We were completely satisfied. There was everything you needed. The surroundings were very nice green and you could do nice things nearby. For our family reunion, the house was perfect. We felt very comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed.

A great place to stay with a prime location. We enjoyed the evening very much and had a wonderful view of the Wartburg. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. A small defect was immediately fixed so that we and the subsequent guests could find a great accommodation. We will be happy to come back.

Highly recommended for a family of 10 members. Everyone had their own room and the house has everything you need. An oven is not provided, but that did not bother us. The nearest bakery was 7 minutes away by car. Memleben is a small place - very quiet and idyllically located on the Unstrut. Nevertheless, a lot to offer: an adventure park, the Imperial Palatinate with historic monastery, the Arche Nebra is not far away and we have made a detour to the Eckartsberga amusement park. All in all, a successful holiday for the whole family. In winter/autumn certainly also very romantic with fireplace. Also very great: for 10 people 4 bathrooms (three of them with a toilet). This saved us an incredible amount of time for so many people in the morning. We thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place to relax. Beautiful garden, very private, great terrace. You can find a cozy place anywhere. Cute settlement and super easy to reach. Sylvia was very helpful and we felt comfortable right away!

We stayed with Holger for two nights and felt comfortable. We were warmly welcomed. Everything was very straightforward on site. There was a small inconsistency in advance, but it was resolved. The place is very nice, the rooms great, just a little clammy in the basement. We liked to use the beautiful balcony with cozy furniture and great views. In the kitchen there is everything you need.

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

Very nice house without a lot of frills, stylishly furnished. Good hiking trails nearby. Restaurants are not easy to find.

We (6 adults and 4 children) spent an extended weekend in Susann and Sebastian's house and felt very comfortable. The house offers enough space and is well equipped. In the house, you will find plenty of tips for excursions. Communication with Susann was easy and pleasant.
