It is situated in the heart of North Norfolk being only 20 minutes from the sea . Norfolk is mainly an agricultural county with many farms and quaint villages and amazing coastline . From here you are also only 25-30 minutes from Norwich the Main City which is of great historic interest with a castle & two cathedrals , it also has a great market and great shopping .

Enjoy a stay in this fabulously renovated former railway cottage in Melton Constable, in the heart of North Norfolk The cottage has 2 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom with a roll top bath. The second bedroom is a super king or can be 2 singles. It has a spacious and well equipped kitchen diner and the added benefit of a downstairs shower room making it perfect for 2 couples or a family. The cottage is dog friendly with a fully enclosed rear garden and a parking space.

We are situated 3 miles from Holt and approximately 8 miles from the beautiful North Norfolk coast.

Perfect for couples seeking a peaceful village retreat with easy access to the coast and Norwich. Guests can relax in front of the wood burner or soak up the sun in the pretty private garden. Georgian Holt and Marriotts Way cycle path are nearby. With private parking we are perfect for a weekend away or longer stay any time of the year.

Showman's Wagon in Cottage Garden

Romantic 'gypsy' style showman's wagon (c. 1920) in idyllic cottage garden with wonderful birdsong and views of a medieval church. It was recently renovated with electricity, basic kitchen and has use of a private bathroom attached to the cottage as well as a piece of garden with outside seating and fire bowl. The Wagon is available in the summer months only - from Easter to mid September.
