The Hare’s retreat is one of two accommodations on site, the other being ‘The Kingfisher Studio’. (not in view of each other) A beautifully converted garage/annex with its own independent access and garden. Located 150m off the A134, opposite Nowton park, and only 1.5 miles from the town centre. With approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a large double bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen, wet room/WC and a small but comfortable living room with sofa bed.

Siskin Cottage is a lovely example of a traditional Suffolk cottage. It is situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Beyton, known for it's village green (with resident geese) and the 13th century round tower church. The village pub is within walking distance and serves good food. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is 4 miles away, famous for it's Cathedral and Abbey Gardens, twice weekly market and independent shops.
