Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. Really responsive and friendly host. En-suite bathrooms to each bedroom and the beds were super comfy. Great parking and charger for electric car - lovely walks nearby along the river and the horse in the field behind had just given birth to a foal so our daughter was mesmerised. Oh I forgot the hot tub - that was great too!

Family (2 adults & 2 kids) loved our stay, very well equipped and a lovely place to stay. Football goals and football was a good addition - the playground is no longer there but kids enjoyed their stay.

An amazing stay at Gemma’s cottage. It was beautiful and just like the description. Gemma was a great host and communication was fantastic! We didn’t want to leave, thank you for a wonderful break.

What a wonderful place for a peaceful break away. The house was so comfortable with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was a lovely addition too! My son, who loves wildlife photography, absolutely adored the river. He spent every possible moment down there photographing Kingfishers! I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves birds and wildlife.

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at this property. The local surroundings are beautiful and the house was clean and very well equipped. The hot tub was a nice addition and communication with our host was excellent from start to finish. I would happily recommend a stay here :)

We all felt incredibly spoilt at tower cottage. The accommodation just had a wonderful, relaxed, comforting playful energy about it. It felt that every ornament or artifact that the cottage held had a story behind it and what a privilege for us. It was joyous. The grounds, well that was something else. Early morning Deer, the call of the chiff chaff, the fast low flight of the sparrow hawk through the woods, the soothing sound of the stream in an evening, a great crested grebe joining us for our Sunday morning dip and the joy of the marble run in the woods reminded us to freely play all weekend as a friendship group. Living next door, Ruth and mark were on hand if we needed help or advice without ever feeling like our time and space was compromised. Relaxed wholesome hosts who love where they live. Their kindness was infectious. We will definitely be back.

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the property is beautiful, and the surrounding area is stunning with lots to do within reasonable driving distance. Carey is a kind and thoughtful host, and provided us with breakfast supplies and fresh homebaked bread! I highly recommend staying at Carey's property if visiting the area.

What an absolute gem we found in Apple House. The pictures really don't do the whole place justice! A cosy, romantic house set in beautiful, serene surroundings. It really was the perfect location for our mini moon! Was lovely to be greeted by the chickens and Russel the dog each morning <3 We were treated to some tasty welcome gifts and the place was spotless, very comfy bed and just the most charming decor. Thank you so much Emma and Craig! We will definitely be returning with more of our family!

My husband and I (and our two dogs) had our mini-moon here and it was just the relaxing break we needed. The dogs settled straight away and it's the most sleep we've had in years. We have had a fantastic stay at Sue’s place. The cottage was so homely and spacious. Great Asby itself is such a quiet and peaceful location and is perfectly situated to get out to the lakes, via car, or the dales for a good walk. The local pub was superb for food and drinks and all locals were super friendly. Sue and Fitz were such friendly and attentive hosts who also left some lovely and much appreciated treats in the cottage for us to enjoy on our arrival. We would love to come back. Thanks again for a brilliant stay. 😊🤩

Perfect! Exactly what we wanted, the cottage was pristine and equipped to a high standard with everything you need. Although dogs are welcome you would never know that a dog had been anywhere near. The location is secluded and peaceful with great views with horse stables next door and horses in the field. Swallows nesting in the stables constantly flying around. The enclosed garden is ideal for dogs to wander freely safely. Joanna is a great friendly host responsive and only too happy to help. Would highly recommend!

Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations. Set in the most beautiful landscape. The cottage was clean, cosy, had everything we needed and more (games room with lots of games, books and a football table!) and the private garden was just stunning. My friend and I went to do the 3 peaks so was the great location not far away from the start point to rest and recover! The icing on the cake was meeting and feeding the cute Pygmy goats and chickens. Loved our stay, would 100% stay again

I had the most beautiful few nights away at this cottage. It was so clean, cosy and had everything you could need for a few days away. The little touches like the cookies, homemade bread, eggs from their hens and dog biscuits was such a lovely touch too!! The bed made it very hard to get up every morning as it is so so comfy is the only thing! Me and my dog yogi got to do some lovely walks as the cottage in a good location for many different areas. Overall a great few nights away, I didn't want to leave 😊

Location is great - a couple of minutes walk from the local pub (which is well worth a visit) and there are numerous great walks from the doorstep. The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything you could possibly need for a stay in the lakes. It’s a real home from home with Netflix on the TV and various board games to keep you entertained. Jo was super friendly, responsive and all in all a great host. We would definitely recommend staying here!

A fabulous stay. Beautiful, fully equipped, cottage. The little balcony with its view was something else - great spot for an early morning cuppa! The 6 of us had a great time for a special weekend, visiting The Piece Hall and Hebden Bridge. We would not hesitate to recommend and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at David’s beautiful and unique accommodation. David was responsive to all queries and made us feel incredibly welcome. He’s clearly passionate about the space he has designed and built — it’s thoughtfully planned, exceptionally well designed, and full of character.The attention to detail throughout is outstanding. We had the best night’s sleep in the enormous, super-comfy bed, and the large walk-in shower was a joy to use. The property is equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more) for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The views from the living area and terrace are lovely. It’s an easy and scenic walk into the centre of Marsden along the canal towpath or a quiet lane, and both the Standedge Tunnel and North of England Centre for Music and Arts with its cafe are just a couple of minutes away on foot. Amanda personally welcomed us upon arrival and took the time to show us round the cottage, explaining where everything was and how things worked. The cottage itself is beautiful, extremely well kept and full of all the bits and pieces you need to have a most enjoyable stay, including those nice little extras such as tea, coffee, milk and wine to welcome you. The view from the cottage is stunning and the local village itself has lovely little shops and cafes. The area itself has lots of walks through lovely countryside and numerous places of outstanding natural beauty. A little further out, there are a number of museums, towns, historical places that are worth exploring, including Hadrian's Wall and the Pennines. This is an ideal place for a relaxing break, out in the countryside soaking up the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Harry's place for just one night but wished it was for longer after getting a feel for the place.The accommodation is beautifully designed with brilliant features in every corner.We had everything we needed at the cottage and Harry is a fab communicator giving us lots of helpful information.The town itself was buzzing with interesting characters and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ulverston and can't wait to return.

Beautiful cottage - comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Lots of lovely original features - especially the wonderful bath and shower! Beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds and beautiful views. Peaceful location and conveniently located. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for your stay in the Lakes!

We had a lovely stay at Molly’s cottage! We stayed for our 5 year anniversary and it was incredibly serene and peaceful. It was really spacious for 2 people and had everything that was promised. Lots of great music choices for the CD player, great board game options and some great reading material. It was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated. The log burner was perfection for a cosy night in. Couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back! X

Liz's cottage is full of character and cosy. Great base to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dale's. Great cooking facilities as we like to cook ourselves.

I work in Catterick and normally stay in one of the hotels but had a longer stay this time so booked Bluebell Cottage and glad I did. Lovely place exactly what I want, Bev was excellent with her communication and little treats were left. Parking was a little difficult but nothing that would put you off as only a short walk if you couldn’t find a space in the road. Less than 5 minutes walk from Richmond centre would 100% recommend and book again
