Waterfront holiday rentals in Ticino

My husband, 6yo daughter, and I stayed at Carolina's apartment for two nights. The large terrace and the view of the lake and mountains are amazing - this alone is worth the stay. The apartment itself, though, was also very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The elevator directly to the apartment is convenient, and parking was very easy. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the lake, and we also walked to Locarno, stopping at multiple playgrounds along the way. There is a Coop gas station with a market nearby for quick groceries, and a bus station is also close. We had lovely autumn weather while there, so I can't speak to temperature control in the warmer months, but we did see several AC units, and there were fans available. All in all, I highly recommend and hope to return sometime very soon!

Praktisch eingerichtete Wohnung direkt am See mit sehr schöner, grosser Terrasse. Badeplatz direkt hinter dem Haus. Sehr gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr. Postauto und Zug wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Nous avons été accueillis par une dame très gentille et soucieuse de notre bien-être, Mike est très réactif dans la communication, logement très sympa, l'environnement est idéal pour profiter de la montagne et de la rivière.

Schöne Wohnung an ruhiger Lage. Das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Wir haben die direkte Lage am See sehr genossen, genau so wie die Nähe zu Restaurants und Gelateria! Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen und wir fühlten uns von Anfang sehr wohl. Yvonne ist eine überaus freundliche Gastgeberin und und hat auf unsere Anfragen immer sehr rasch geantwortet. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

We had a wonderful stay at Luisa’s apartment in Lugano! The location was perfect, peaceful yet within easy reach of everything and the apartment was exactly as pictured: clean and comfortable. Luisa was an incredibly kind and helpful host, offering local tips that made our stay even more special. We really enjoyed a walk to Gandria for a beautiful lunch on a patio, then take the scenic boat ride back. Dinner at Grotto dei Pescatori was another highlight. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lugano!

Très bel appartement très bien équipé et chaleureux. L’hôtesse est très accueillante et réactive. Le village de Realp en soit n’est pas le plus beau mais depuis l’appartement on ne le remarque pas et on se trouve littéralement au bord de la piste de ski de fond et avec de nombreuses possibilités de ski de randonnée.

Kann diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen. Alles war sauber & wohnlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns äusserst wohl gefühlt und haben die Anlage/Umgebung geliebt. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort und wir würden gerne wieder einmal zurück kommen. Der Gastgeber reagiert sehr schnell auf Nachrichten und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

We had a fantastic stay at this charming and beautifully renovated home! The space is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail, and the kitchen was well equipped. One of our favorite parts was the lovely jasmine scent that greeted us each time we came in, adding a relaxing and fresh touch. The outdoor area is a true highlight — peaceful and beautifully set up for relaxing in the evening. It’s a hidden gem, tucked away yet close to so many things to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot and would absolutely return!

Die Unterkunft war ideal für 2 Paare mit vielen Schlaf- und Badezimmern. Alles war vorhanden und mehr. Sauber war es und es hatte eine ne grosszügige Terrasse mit einer One Million Dollar View. Gut ausgestattete Küche, Holz für Cheminée standen bereit. Christoph gab uns Tipps und beim Checkin und Checkout war er entgegenkommend. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leo war ein feiner Gastgeber, der uns einen tollen Service geboten hat. Das alte Tessinerhaus ist romantisch und die Sicht auf den See von allen Fenstern ist herrlich. Für 8 ist es etwas eng, ideal für 6 Leute. Wir schätzten besonders, dass man wunderbar mit ÖV reisen kann. Schiff, Bus und Zug sind ganz in der Nähe. Der kleine Laden in der Nähe bietet alles für den täglichen Gebrauch.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem romantischen Rustico. Die Kinder liebten das verwinkelte Häuschen und die Treppen und Weglein im Garten. Die Treppe ins obere Schlafzimmer ist wirklich sehr steil und die Türe ins untere Zimmer sehr schmal. Für sportliche Leute alles kein Problem😉. Das Haus hat alles was es braucht, gut ausgestattete Küche, wir liebten auch den Kamin. Der Aussenbereich ist unschlagbar-zum Glück hatten wir schönes Wetter. Besonders die Morgenstimmung mit Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge war sensationell. Vielen Dank!

Es war wunderschön. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Bobby war ein super Gastgeber!

Silvias kleine Rustico-Wohnung war schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Zum Eingang der Wohnung steigt man eine Aussentreppe zwei Stockwerke hoch. Auch der Schlafbereich mit zwei Betten in der Wohnung selber ist nur über eine steile Treppe erreichbar. In der Nacht muss man diese Treppe auch nutzen, um zum WC zu gelangen. Für uns war das noch gut machbar. Aber für Gäste mit Schwierigkeiten beim gehen und beim Gleichgewicht könnte das ein Problem darstellen. Die Lage im kleinen Dorf am Berghang war ruhig und friedlich. Uns hat es in dieser Wohnung und dieser Gegend sehr gut gefallen.

Marugg's place exceeded all of our expectations!!!! Lugano was our final stop on our 2 week family trip through Italy. We experienced many beautiful places throughout the 2 weeks but Marugg's place exceeded them all!!! The attention to detail was phenomenal. The location was 'perfetto,' the views spectacular and the home pristine. Our grandchildren made excellent use of the pool and the outdoor space was incredible! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the expansive patio area soaking in the tranquil views of the lake and all of the beautiful flowers. The smell of honeysuckle abounded outdoors ~ Marugg's home truly encompassed all of the senses. We cannot recommend it enough and we can't wait to return on our next visit to see our Swiss family! Marugg, thank you so much for your kind hospitality! We feel honored to have been welcomed into your exceptional home. We made so many beautiful memories with our family. One of the most stunning locations you can imagine on Lugano. Right on the lake, 3 storeyed and superbly kept. Don't think. Just go for it if you are considering Lugano. Fantabulous views.

Super Lage - Traumhaft Aussicht 😍

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Andrin. Mehr als diese Aussicht vom Balkon braucht man eigentlich nicht, aber auch der Rest der Wohnung ist schön und gut eingerichtet. Bis bald hoffentlich!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und liebvoll eingerichtet. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern! Die Kommunikation war einfach und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir sind rundum sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist super, die Unterkunft bietet sogar Kanus, die man benutzen darf.

Das Grischina in Locarno ist eine wunderschöne Wohnung am Lido di Locarno mit toller Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore und die Berge. Die Terrasse ist riesig.. Alle Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Badeanstalt ist gleich gegenüber und im Zentrum von Locarno ist man schnell zu Fuss. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben tolle 5 Tage in dieser ruhigen und dennoch zentralen Wohnung erlebt. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Arrivederci Grischina!
