Monthly Rentals in Tikokino

We were looking for a place to stay overnight after attending a family funeral in Napier, and finding an Airbnb close to the highway south of Napier isn't easy. So we were delighted to find The Phoenix on Millar in the village of Otane. Not only is it conveniently situated but is a cosy haven on a cold wet night. Good heating and a warm, comfortable bed. It also has a well equipped kitchen, and under cover parking is a bonus. We did have a little trouble finding the gate in the dark but that was a very minor problem. I'm sure that Carolina's place would be equally delightful in the summer especially with the tiny leafy courtyard off the bedroom just beckoning for a morning coffee or quiet read . would definitely recommend 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. Despite the windy weather on the first night, still slept like a baby through it all on a nice and cosy bed. Place was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, we felt right at home. Looking forward to coming back again, thanks Leah

Great place! The hosts were so welcoming and made our stay memorable. We tried their food and it was great (burger and pizza must try). Enjoyed our time here! Farm tour with Bob and Zack best!

I had a great stay here! The house is cute and the farm surroundings were very peaceful. The view was also stunning! Mickey was really responsive to questions I had too. There were good recommendations for nearby walks, restaurants and things to do. I recommend staying here if you’re looking for a scenic spot!
