Our home is in the area of SUNNYSIDE! you can walk(15 min)to the lake, beach, food market, kids park, pickle ball and 5 restaurants from the house. You can hear ward creek from the house. A 40 mile bike path from the house. We have a game room air hockey, shuffle board, foosball, corn hole, frisbee golf. Outside hot tub, dining, gas fire pit and BBQ. Backdoor hiking and TRT trail crosses our street. Ask about free shuttle from house directly to (sherwood chair if open ) Alpine and Palisades.

Ski @ Homewood, Squaw or Alpine—the shuttles are nearby. A beach is at the bottom of the hill, & many popular restaurants & bars are nearby. We have hi speed wifi & a TV downstairs.

Wonderful setting and home. Very central to all things in north shore/Tahoe City. We had an issue with water - the city struck a water main - and the host was very responsive in getting us info which was so appreciated. A relaxing week for sure.

A cozy, grounding retreat. The cabin blends rustic charm with vintage character, clearly cared for with pride and a reverence for the history of the property and the surrounding land. Tucked just far enough from Tahoe City to offer peace and quiet, yet close enough to join the scene when desired, it felt like the perfect balance. The natural landscaping is unobtrusive and thoughtfully tended, and the cabin itself had everything I needed to feel at home during my brief stay. A lovely place to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the hosts was smooth and thoughtful from start to finish — they clearly care about making their guests feel welcome. The location was great, and we really appreciated the clear check-out instructions (which were super easy). Overall, highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay again!

Loved our stay here! It is a beautiful cabin and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Inside was super clean and comfy. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Favorite memory was the peaceful family time and seeing a bear it quietly looked for food through the neighborhood while everyone was asleep.

We had an amazing stay at Paige and Matthew's place. It's a beautiful location, 15 minutes from Palisades and just a few minutes from Granlibaken and Homewood. The house is so cute, with lots of little details that made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real treat, high quality and clean. We had a small issue with the lock, but Paige/Matthew responded immediately and we got it sorted quickly. Highly recommended, hopefully we will be back soon.
