We loved our stay at Karen’s guest home. Beautiful home, peaceful and welcoming. Craftsman-style home with modern updates; we loved it! The kitchen had all the supplies I would need. Overall, the property was perfect for our stay and our hosts were so accommodating and helpful.

The Dalton House (main level)

The house was close to the wedding we were going to. It was a very private nice beautiful area. Our son-in-law brought our grandkids by while waiting to leave for the wedding and we took our grandkids fishing it was great fun. House was perfect for us as it had 3 bedrooms and quiet. Would definitely recommend. Angela was a great host and very responsive.

Quaint on the square apartment

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is located right off the square in Chillicothe. Its a great place. Its also very convenient to walk around downtown to see the shops and the wonderful murals on the sides of buildings. There is a great coffee shop across the street and around the corner. We had a wonderful time and will come back here again.

The Hansen Ave Bed & Breakfast-Whole property!

BillRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I arrived a bit early, and Cecilia was gracious about an early checkin -- she has chickens and a couple of ducks (at least the time I was there) -- allowed my friend and I to feed them. There were horses down the street in a pasture. 2 of the 3 allowed us to pet them. There is a Mennonite owned coffee shop in downtown -- with plenty of home made goodies -- coffee isn't bad (I am a slight coffee snob) Being a northerner, I didn't see any Confederate flags -- though there is a statue of a Union soldier with the inscription: Lest we forget 1861-1865 -- I had to do the research to see if it was a Confed or Union soldier - and it is listed as Union -- but the statue is to bring light to the soldiers lost in any war. the town has a moderate sized Walmart -- a grocery/hardware store -- a really huge rural cemetery -- and a quaint community pool with some slides. There is a BBQ place too, but was unable to get there. All-in-all -- great little respite from city life!

Country camper near Lexington MO

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had never stayed in an RV before but for a quick weekend getaway decided to check it out. We were surprised by the space and quality of the RV. This is clearly a very nice one. the Kitchen was large and well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could want as well as a decently wide variety of breakfast items. The bathroom was quite large as well. The bedroom itself was a bit of a tight fit for my head but I'm extemly tall, for most anyone it should be no issue. The surrounding area is a relic of a once popping ranch that had rodeos and horse shows. As it stands it's a weathered aging barn with a handful of horses in the distance. This serves to make it feel very secluded. Our pug enjoyed it very much as well and there were even treats there for him! It's 10 minutes from historic Lexington which has restaurants. The only minor issue is one of the recliners got stuck extended, not a big deal otherwise the living room was amazing. we would visit again for sure.
