The host is super hospitable. The hotel is new, beautiful, Armen does everything from the heart, prepares a delicious barbecue! The view from the rooms is amazing! Recommended!

This place was truly amazing and talking to the owner and the family was a lovely experience. I would recommend anyone who needs to stay in Goris to come here.

The host: Anar does not lives here at the moment however his lovely mother Nayile xanim helps him in hosting it. Extremely respectful, and polite human being who made me feel a part of her own family. Although we could not speak the same language, thanks to the translating apps - we spoke on hours at end while enjoying great tea, and Ordubadi sweets (jams) that she made herself. The place of stay: Beautiful house with a spacious court yard and high ceilings. Located in a historical part of the town. It looks like it was recently renovated to great standards. I was shocked to realise that the house is built in 1870. It is fascinating to come across the similarities this house has with the houses in Sheki city of Azerbaijan - turns out that most architecture designed houses in both cities. The place was clean, and the bed was ultra comfortable. The Food: Highly recommended that you allow Nayile xanim to cook simple and rich Ordubadi food for you, and avoid the restaurants for a much immersive experience. Reasonable charges of 10-15azn ($6-9) will apply per meal. I highly recommend asking her to arrange a small size Ordubadi Qeyqanagh (eggs cooked in butter, and honey - soaked in sugar syrup). Will cost you a mere 20azn ($12), and it's totally worth it. The best part, the food is all organic, and seasonal!! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Suren and his wife Julia were great hosts, even if the language barrier was sometimes difficult. If you come with no Armenian or Russian, you may find it difficult to communicate fluidly -- but they are experienced hosts and will work with you to come to an understanding. Their son and daughter, often available on the other end of a cell phone, speak good English and can help with translating anything that can't otherwise be figured out. Julia's cooking and general hospitality are top-notch. If internet access is a priority, make sure you ask for the wi-fi device -- it needs to be plugged in in your room but the signal is surprisingly good once it's working.

Unfortunately we stayed for a one day only, but it was enough to fall in love with this place. Peaceful, clean, close to the main site seeing. I’d like to mention the details of exterior and interior of this place. We are amazed how every inch of the area was designed and created by the host. If you choose this place you will have an opportunity to have your morning coffee in the wilderness. Climb the tree and pick an apple or blackberry or an apple ( depends on the season). You will have an opportunity to put some classical music on record player, that was amazingly and carefully held for you to enjoy. In other words this is the place you have to visit!
