House holiday rentals in Tocha

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Highlight was the unbelievable views from the pool and terrace. The villa and garden with pool & basketball/football court is completely private, perfect for small groups. There are some great local restaurants and river beaches, and Porto centre is only a short drive away. Be warned - there are lots of steep and narrow roads! João was a brilliant host - greeting us on arrival, and easy to reach throughout. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Maison fonctionnelle, agréable et spacieuse. Conforme à la description et aux photos. Hôte accueillant et réactif. Il n’y a aucun point négatif. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Vous pouvez louer cette maison sans hésitation. Si nous retournons au Portugal aucun doute que nous essayerons de relouer cette maison. Nous étions 8, 7 adultes et un enfant. La piscine est très agréable. Et les hôtes sont très accueillants. La bouteille de vin offerte à l’arrivée est un plus qui est très apprécié.

A casa era exatamente igual às fotografias. Desde o momento da reserva até ao check-out, a D. Adelaide foi uma excelente anfitriã, sempre disponível e atenciosa. As comodidades eram muito confortáveis e cada cantinho da casa surpreendeu pela positiva, com detalhes pensados ao pormenor para garantir o bem-estar e o conforto de todos. A receção feita pela D. Glória foi extremamente simpática e acolhedora, e o bolo de boas-vindas... estava simplesmente divinal! Sem dúvida, uma experiência para repetir.

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Het was een heel mooi huisje, klein, maar alles was van goed materiaal, fijne douche, mooi ingericht met leuke houtdetails. We sliepen heerlijk met de ramen open en het geluid van het riviertje, verder was het helemaal stil ‘s nachts. Buiten fijne terrassen, heerlijk met onze voeten in het riviertje gezeten, een fantastische omgeving, helemaal vrij uitzicht aan de achterkant van het huis en een lieflijk gehuchtje. We liepen elke dag een half uurtje naar Gois, een mooi dorp met rivier en heerlijke gebakjes bij de paladeria. Wij vonden het heel fijn!

My husband and I needed a break in the country side and James place was perfect. James gave us some great tips for the area.His house and farm are very big and beautiful and we had a very relaxing few days. The little town of villa de rei is only 10 min away. Great bush-walks with lovely cool waterfalls and places to swim are near by.Definitely can recommend James place to anyone.We hope to come back one day.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

Wir hatten eine hervorragende Zeit im 'casal frias'. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen, das Grundstück einzigartig und privat - der Pool war super sauber und das Frühstück klasse. Wir waren mit einem kleinen Kind unterwegs - es gab ein Babybett und super Hochstuhl. Der Poolbereich kann mit Toren abgeschlossen werden, so dass Kleinkinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt ans Wasser gelangen.

Helena's beach house was just perfect! Exactly as described with very cozy interior and charming decor. Everything was clean and well organized. We had a very good time and would recommend it for couples as well as for a group of friends.

Très bon accueil par José, père Isabel. Hébergement très propre, endroit calme et pas éloigné des zones commerciales et des visites à faire. Très bon restaurant à proximité et boulangerie . This apartment, or rather a tiny house, was so tastefully decorated and it had everything needed for a week stay. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful dishwear, super appliances! Modern and comfortable. Internet was reliable for two people remote working. The host was available and super friendly. Just one note: the shower door opening is only 31cm wide. This is not very accessible. A wider opening door or shower curtain would be better. Other than that, everything was just perfect. The apartment has beautiful details that give unique character to it, so delightful! A/C units with heating both downstairs and upstairs were very efficient but quiet, an absolute plus! Because the weather was stormy most days during our stay, we couldn’t enjoy the terrace but it was really lovely. Would love to stay in this apartment in the summer too!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The house was exactly as pictured - clean, modern, and bright. The pool and deck were beautiful and we spent many evenings just enjoying that space. The neighborhood is quiet and you are a very short drive from the town and the beach. It’s a great spot to do day trips from as well. There is also a large supermarket right nearby which was great to have. It was hard for us to leave and we definitely recommend this house!

Luiz and his wife were excellent hosts. Always eager to help. Place was very clean, Gates and cozy inside. Big terrace with great view. Felt like home away from home

We had the most amazing stay, there was 6 of us in total and the villa was perfect! So spacious and beautifully decorated. The villa was extremely clean and modern, Helio is a great host too and super responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

A fantastic and unique space that really shows the incredible potential of buildings in Porto. The apartment is well-equipped and comfortable, and communication with the host was smooth and easy. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous house with everything you need and a great sense of space, both inside and out. Clean, modern and very well equipped. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely, friendly and safe village. Would highly recommend.
