The house has a bedroom on the 1st floor with a double bed. The entire 2nd floor has an open solution with several beds (see picture). Bathroom with underfloor heating and shower on 1st floor. Kitchen, living room, TV, dining table, oven, heat pump + basement with living area (long table), toilet and washing machine (private entrance) (can be used by appointment).

You will stay 5-10 minutes walk from the canyon where the water is thrown down and ends in a shower where the rainbow shows itself on sunny days. You live on the 18th-century Jenstad farm with historic buildings where history can be read in every log, inside and out. Please note that the room height inside the apartment is about 195 cm with a supporting kettle that is approx. 170 cm between the entrance and the living room.

Welcome to our cabin in Hornlia, Oppdal, in the outskirt of Trollheimen. This is a good base for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Beds / mattresses for six persons. You have to bring your own linen and towels. Cleaning / vacuuming before leaving. The cabin was new in January 2018 and contains: Two bedrooms, each with double beds. At the loft we have four mattresses on the floor. Bath with bathtub. Kitchen and living room. There is enough quilts and pillows for six persons.

Ångardsvatnet ca 150 meter unna, perfekt for bading, fiske, båt osv. Stabburet er et utmerket utgangspunkt for turer i Trollheimen, sommer og vinter. Oppkjørte langrennsløyper ca 50 meter fra døra.

We had a fantastic stay at this stylish and beautifully decorated cabin in Alvunfjord. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views over the fjord. The location is peaceful, with only a few other houses around. The host was kind and helpful, with quick and friendly communication. There’s a supermarket nearby for convenience, though not many restaurants in the area.

Thank you, Paul, for having us at your very special place. The location is truly amazing, and the house itself is exceptional—full of character, thoughtful details, and incredible craftsmanship. We had a wonderful time. Although we weren’t able to explore the area as much as we’d hoped due to feeling unwell, simply staying at your place was more than enough. Admiring the magical view through the large window, listening to the birds in the early morning, and watching the ever-changing clouds over the mountains was an experience in itself. Every glance outside offered something new—just magical. The house was so comfortable and beautifully designed. Just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again in the future—hopefully next time we’ll be able to explore the surrounding area as well.

The windowview of this cabin is one of the most stunning of all places we ever stayed! If you want the ultimate calm then this cabin is perfect! The architecture is wonderful, combining the new and the old! Very clever design and nicely decorated, and very well adjusted to the landscape! Make sure to check the weather and road conditions because when heavy rain or snow it might be a bit tricky to get up. But once you arrive, you get rewarded with unique surroundings! The hosts are very responsive and so helpful! Every tiny question was answered immediately! Thank you!

We loved the place. Everything was as described and in the pictures. The hosts were on site upon our arrival and welcomed us warmly. The accommodation was great and everything necessary was available. The view was great and the surroundings were quiet. We especially liked the whirlpool and the fireplace. Everything is great, thumbs up! 😊
