The road up is a nice hike on the tractor road, heavy in some batch. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes, and warm clothes. Great view awaits you. The cabin has one room. Family bunk and sofa bed. Dining table and gas cooking appliance with two burners. Road fee NOK 40,- in cash. Bed linen included. Dog not allowed. Water source behind cabin for cleaning.

Approximately 17 min drive to Dalen In winter time, there are great cross-country trails just outside the door. It is about 25 min with car to Hallbjønnsekken ski center and large trail network for cross country skiing. For the ski center Vrådal it is about 30 min by car. In the summer we have the lovely swimming area "Key Vest-Ø" only 600m away, the Mining Museum where you can enter the mountain and football field only a pass away.
