Apartment holiday rentals in Tokyo 23 wards

This was one of our favorite AirBnBs in Japan yet. It was spacious, had multiple beds, a stocked kitchen, and was in a good location only a few train stops from Shibuya. We can see why this is a trendy neighborhood for 20/30-somethings. We forgot that this unit is on the 4th floor with no elevator, and we had to carry our (by then) heavy luggage up and down, but other than that, the building and space were great. Nakano was also a lovely host, sending helpful messages before and during our stay. Check this place out!

We stayed at Compass Stay for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The house is cozy, clean, and beautifully designed. The location is extremely convenient—just a 3-minute walk to Roppongi Station, making it easy to access popular areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and more. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and other amenities nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

David was an awesome host and everything about this airbnb made our trip go super smoothly and enjoyable! Instructions were super clear for check-in and also for details during our stay (such as trash disposal and laundry). The bed and pillows were super comfortable and having the AC was a cherry on top!! We really loved the location as the area is trendy with cute cafes and also very conveniently close to the Setagaya Daita station and Shimokitazawa station. We loved that there was a grocery store in addition to the 711 where we could get food, snacks, and drinks--and with the spacious dining table we really could relax and enjoy our food especially after a long day in this airbnb. Bonus: they even had a hair straightener!

I had a lovely stay here. Very easy to find as the directions provided were excellent. It was a really cute place with all the amenities and very clean. I loved the location - pretty neighbourhood with lots of cool places to eat and to shop at. Also walkable to other popular neighbourhoods and public transport. Jung was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend!

Nobu's place is in a beautiful location in Shibuya, a short walk to excellent cafes, wine bars and a small supermarket. Also an easy walk to heart of Shibuya and transport links to other areas of Tokyo. The apartment is spotless, really comfortable with natural light and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable room, well-organized furnitures and located in a peaceful and safe community. I found everything I need in the room and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and thanks again for the hosting :)

Keiko went above and beyond

I mistakenly chose the stay as 1 person, they agreed to be corrected as 2 people. I was scared because I saw negative comments about cleanliness, but it was very clean. The location was close to JR Metros and grocery stores. If you only return late at night, there are too many alcoholic men around, we have not encountered any negative situations, but just for your information if you are traveling with women. It was a good amenity that it was close to Tokyo station since we went to other cities for the day. There was detergent for the washing machine. They don't have umbrellas for guests to use as in some of the facilities. Overall, we were satisfied.

This was our best Airbnb experience ever. Communication with our hosts was perfect: clear instructions, courteous check-ins, and helpful notes around the apartment. The apartment was pristine and beautifully decorated. It had everything you could need for a stay in Tokyo. Finally, the location was great. It's located by two key train stations, which makes getting anywhere easy and the neighborhood itself was very cute with convenience stores, a grocer, pharmacy and tons of restaurants/bars all close by.

Staying in unknown country for the first time , was easier bcz of Ken. He s such a great and helpful host!! The house is really what it looks in pictures and comfortable , short walk to Sasazuka station!!! . Thanks Ken!!

loved this location! lots of lovely cafes and restaurants less than an 8min walk away, 7/11 & grocery store basically next door - relatively close to public transport! the home in itself was clean and well kept, spacious enough for 3 people considering most our time spent there is to relax and sleep! highly recommend :)

We had a great stay. Location was super close to train station and one stop from Shinjuku which made getting to other areas easy. Good eating options around the neighborhood and not overly crowded or noisy. Rei was very communicative and the provided guides were perfect. Recommended.

First of all, Kana is the best host ever! She was so kind, generous and hospitable. Second, as far as the location is concerned, it's not for everyone, but definitely it suits me an my family as we know what we want when in Tokyo, and are not swayed by the masses of tourists. So for us, the location was perfect! Near subway stations and close enough to Shimbashi Station, which surprisingly we did not need to go to as often as I thought, because there were other stations nearby. Lots of "konbinis" nearby and surprisingly a Mini Stop as well which I did not see any in this trip aside from this one. The building is new and the room is quite spacious. And surprisingly, the beds are long and wide, perfect for Western-sized travellers. We also slept very well every night and felt like home. Overall, with the added amenity, I would not hesitate to stay here again. This was my first and only choice, and I am glad Kana accepted us to stay in her room. どうもありがとうございました。またすぐ戻ってきます。

Very good, lots of food around

The apartment was conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions. It is easy to find and the host provided amenities to make your stay more comfortable. I highly recommend it to others.

Very spacious, very close to the subway station, very convenient.The house is fully equipped, the toiletries are also very complete, the host is very nice, can store luggage.

Loved staying here! The beds were very comfy, and the room had all the essentials you could ever need! Mr.Masakatsu was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he carried my stuff to my room and showed me all the amenities of my room. The room itself is a 6 min walk to the train station which is super nice! I would love to be able to come back here on my next trip!

Kota and Shunki’s apartment was very clean and cozy. Nice and quiet at night despite easy access to Shin Okubo station. I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

We were very happy with Akari’s place!! Azabu-Juban is a great spot, the apartment is near supermarkets, good restaurants, good bakeries, and close by to the subway. Akari gave very clear instructions, it was everything we had hoped for. We especially love the laundry and the bathroom setup to hang the cloths dry with the help of heat fan. Overall highly recommended!!!
