Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Tokyo Bay

Absolutely loved our stay here! it was not in the big tourist spots, but a quick and easy train ride to Shinjuku and Shibuya. I was thankful to be in a quieter area, but conveniently located within 1 min walk of Family Mart and anything you wanted to eat. I highly recommend this place and we so loved it! Great and quick communication. would definitely stay again if/when we return to Tokyo!

We loved staying here. It’s right around the corner from the bus stop. It’s also on a relatively quiet street at night, but still very close walking distance to food and some night life. We came with two young kids and forgot a stroller. Fortunately, the place had a stroller and other amenities for parents with young kids. Makoto communicated proactively and also provided very clear instructions in English and with pictures which helped us check in very quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

We enjoyed the convenience of this location very much - it was close to the train station, close to restaurants and convenience stores, and was a quieter area in close walking distance to the busier area of Asakusa. The space of the apartment felt tight to walk around in for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children age 7 and 10), but the description and reviews did mention the narrowness of the apartment. We put out the extra bed on the floor for bedtime and folded it back up during the day to allow space for the table and put some of our luggages underneath the bed, and it worked out. We were thankful for the many amenities provided such as washer, the kitchenette, and the instructions on how to use the items, and felt the space was well used. Keyless entry was also smooth and easy.

Gracious hosts whom were very responsive. The apartment was clean and utilities were well kept. The kitchen had everything you need to cook.

Everything is fine, great location and spacious house. I would just improve the cleanliness a little more.

We had a family of 3, Very easy to find and close to subway. Hosts are very thoughtful and had a lot of little things supplied that made it even better for us during our stay. Moe was very quick to respond and very helpful. A few bakeries within 5 mins walking and same distance for 7/11, Lawsons and Family Mart. Definitely recommend this space and will stay again when we come back to Tokyo.

My wife and I have been trying to get a chance to visit Japan for the last ten years, and when we finally got the ability to, Asama helped us start off the trip wonderfully. Her house was comfortable and easy to find, and was very homey stay in. She offered home cooked meals for breakfast, which were absolutely fantastic. We got to sit and chat with her many times and shared stories about where we were from and our travels. She recommended many places for us to go locally, which was very helpful. Overall, Asama was a wonderful hostess and was absolutely one of the best parts of our trip so far. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting the area to stay. 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at Chie’s place. The apartment was lovely, clean, and in a peaceful area—perfect for a relaxing break. Chie and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to reply and happy to help with any questions we had, even those not directly related to our stay. They gave great local recommendations and were very helpful when we were checking out. The beds were super comfy—definitely the highlight of the house! We’d love to stay here again in the future.

When I asked if there was a DVD/BluRay player, I was told that there wasn't, and I was about to give up, but I was really grateful that you had one!Thanks to you, I was able to watch the movie that everyone wanted to see, and I had a great time.It was a relief that it wasn't a subscription. The residence was spacious and comfortable, and the bedroom and living room were separated on the first and second floors, so we were able to rest at our own pace.The bath and▪️ shower were separate, and it was a clean and wonderful place to stay. It would have been even better if there had been a TV in the living room (with chairs and a long table)!

I used it at a sports tournament.Unfortunately, it was rainy, but I enjoyed the humorous illustrations and rested slowly.The surroundings are surrounded by nature, and I would like to stay again on a sunny day.

We stayed as a family for several nights.Partly because it was newly built, everywhere was very clean and I had a pleasant time.Each room had a slightly different atmosphere, and the interior was stylish and relaxing. I was grateful for the baby chair, crib, and toys for my child.I was able to reduce my luggage, and my children were able to play without getting bored, which was a great help to me as a parent.There were also a range of appliances such as a kitchen and washing machine, and I was able to do a little housework smoothly during my stay. It was also nice to have enough space for the whole family to relax.Personally, I was happy that I was able to eat in the living room and put him to bed early at night, without disrupting the rhythm of my life. It was within walking distance of the station, and there were many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble shopping and eating during my stay.It was easy to access Asakusa and the Skytree, and the balance between sightseeing and daily life was just right. Communication with the host was very smooth, and they responded politely to this question, giving me a sense of security.This is a highly recommended inn for families.If I have the opportunity to come to Tokyo again, I would definitely like to use it again.

I was able to relax in the large forest where no one was there, I want to go again

Space accommodated our group well. Very detailed instructions on how to use all appliances which were very helpful. Good AC, which was important because Tokyo was hot that week. Host helped us coordinate with a vendor for airport transportation and a day trip to Mt. Fuji which was convenient and worked really well. We were a big group -14 people- so next time I will ask a host if we can get cleaning services every few days. It’s hard to share 2 showers and 2 toilets with that many people for a week without housekeeping. Not a criticism at all, just an idea to share with others. Would recommend this property to families or groups!

From the initial correspondence to the check-in, they were very quick and very polite. Everyone from children to parents enjoyed it. I want to use it again.

We had a pleasant stay in Tokyo in this accommodation located in the Ikebukuro district. The description and photos are very accurate. Everything went well: special mention to the host who is very responsive if you have any questions!

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

This was our first Airbnb in Japan and it started off the trip well. 5 full size beds in 3 bedrooms was great for privacy. Mattresses are on the firm side. It's in the middle of K-town so lively and exciting, but on Monday night, I could hear people and k-pop playing until 4 am. Luckily I enjoy the music and was so jet-lagged, I slept through most of it. There's a filtered water dispenser, which is very nice for filling reusable bottles for the day and not having to worry about buying from the store. There's a couple hosts and the one who was in charge of communication during the trip was very responsive, even when I messaged at 7 am (sorry!) The dining table was nice to eat quick meals at and a Lawson is right around the corner. The shower was fairly clean, but we did have to use the designated shower slippers and the area right outside the shower lacked clean space to put down our clean clothes or toiletry bags etc. Not a big deal unless you're a germaphobe. Overall great experience!

Great location! So close to the hustle and hustle of Shibuya and yet so quiet and so peaceful and in such a great area! I loved the location! The home is clean and very spacious and especially for Tokyo standards and had everything we needed. Close to all types of shopping, grocery, dining, bars and restaurants. The host is very responsive and I appreciated that as well. Overall, I recommend this home for its great location in Tokyo and the fact that it’s a clean and spacious home with a responsive host.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
