We had a fantastic stay at Reiko’s place in Machida! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was super convenient, with a grocery store and a 7-11 just a short walk away, making it easy to grab essentials. The nearest train station is about a 12-15 minute walk, and from there, you can reach most parts of Tokyo in about an hour, making this a great spot for those who want a peaceful stay with easy city access. Reiko was an absolutely wonderful host! She lives downstairs, but the apartment is completely private on the upper floor. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful, even leaving us some delicious food and snacks upon check-in, which was such a warm welcome after a long journey. Communication was smooth, and she was always available for any questions. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located stay with a truly exceptional host, this is the perfect place. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect for an overnight stay— clean, quiet, and filled with all the amenities. Great location as well. The beds are very thin and pillows inadequate, but I would still recommend for a night.

An ideal spacious place for a long-term stay!! The apartment is located in a secluded area of a busy area in Shinagawa, I could sleep so well every night without earplugs!! Hiro-san, the host, provided me with a bicycle so I could use it every day for commuting and I absolutely loved it.

Très pratique pour passer une nuit avant de prendre un vol tôt ! Le logement est juste à côté de la ligne Kaiser qui emmène à Narita en 10mn environ Logement très propre et futons confortables !

We had an excellent stay. Great apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Host was very communicative. Closest train stations are a 10-15 minute walk away.

Peacefully and beautiful surroundings got a few 24*7 stores nearby ,loved the house clean and well decorated.

the owner of this place is very kind.. the place is perfect (clean, comfy, and spacious) we had a good rest here for the past 6days. the owner also offer us to put the suitcase before the check-in time (because we arrived at Tokyo early in the morning). grateful for the great services! and also the night before we checked out, she give us small gifts🥹..

From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff at Guest House Megumi went above and beyond to make sure my stay was absolutely perfect. They were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with any questions or concerns I had. Their friendly attitude and warm welcome made me feel right at home. 🏠❤️ The exceptional staff, gorgeous accommodations, and fantastic location have all earned a special place in my heart. I'm already looking forward to my next stay and will definitely be reserving a room here again. The place was great and has everything you need - extra blankets, extra bowls and plates, a decent sized refrigerator/freezer, ac/heating units in each room, a work/office desk area for those who are working remote (with really fast internet). It is a 5 minute walk to the Shimura Sakuae (Mita Line) and from there its basically about 30-40 minutes to most places you want to go around Tokyo. Its not stroller friendly but its totally do able. The host was super responsive during our trip and we would totally stay again.

The accommodation is a room in a vibrant neighbourhood close to the metro and supermarkets and restaurants. It’s a room complete of kitchen and bathroom. We slept on futons which were very comfortable. The room has air conditioning and it’s located on the ground floor. It’s very clean and it has a great washing machine which while travelling is a great amenity. The shower is small, it wasn’t an issue for me because I am petite but you may want to watch out if you are a bit oversize. It’s a small room, but all things were exactly as in the pictures and the host was very helpful and responsive. We stayed for 5 days and they cleaned the room around the 3rd day giving us fresh towels which we appreciated very much given the small size of the room. The neighbourhood is also very nice, a gem in Tokyo.Overall I recommend the place for short stays.

A wonderful place close to train station. The room is exactly as described and in the pictures. I recommend :)

Good position, just near the beach. You can have a BBQ in night while listening to the singing of wave, very good experience. Just room is a little bit small.
