This detached self-catering house is decorated in African style with a stunning swimming pool (depth 1.6m+martini seat) integrated in the "stoep" (veranda). This house is unique!! You have to experience it to understand the genius of the person who designed and built it. Wonderful stay - little creatures like a bushbaby peeped out at us and the birds viewed from the balcony visited all day. A braai on the balcony with a glass of wine - perfect! Thank you for this little bit of heaven.

Exceptional place to stay for a few days, splendid location on the bank of the Crocodile River, watching the ongoing parade of wildlife wandering down to the opposite sandbank for a drink, spasmodically, during the day. And the hippos and crocs swimming past frequently. Pretty special to be overlooking Kruger NP from your lounge and bedroom. WOW!

The house is absolutely beautiful! We felt right at home. It had everything we needed and more. Very thoughtful. The views were breathtaking with some animals coming right to the doorstep. We loved this place and enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend.

Pata Pata House spectacular modern Bush villa

I would recommend Airbnb to anyone. We stayed there for a week and it's just fantastic. Clean Airbnb, warm pool and lots of animals to watch from the house. Communication was also very good. The landlords respond very quickly and were very helpful. They sent us direct information about safaris and also gave many great tips about the area. Kruger Park is also only 20 minutes by car. We took a trip all over South Africa with about 10 different Airbnbs and this was by far the best, really dreamy!
