Villa Taddei - near and away

Villa Taddei is a beautiful house built in the seventies by my uncle as a second house where to spend relaxing time away from the bustle of the city of Rome. My uncle, who was a veterinary loved nature and this was the perfect place to enjoy his cats and dogs and to work at his garden and plot and enjoy . The garden is huge and it's full of fruit trees: apricots, peaches, plums in summer, pears, apple and lots of oranges and lemons in winter! It really spreads peace and quietness. Villa Taddei is peaceful inside too with its walls totally white, a bright light and a pleasant natural atmosphere. There are 3 double rooms and an extra funny bed under a wall arch in the living room. Other extra beds can also be requested. There are also three bathrooms and a solar shower outside in the garden. There is the place to park up to 4 cars inside the property and the Villa has the automatic garden door and the camara at the door bell. Outside in the garden you have two porches and a stone barbecue and all you need to stay comfortable outdoor, including bikes for your trips. We are close to the coast (4 km) in the southern part of the province of Rome, at the beginning of the Pontine and close to the Castelli Romani. In these parts, it is a little 'history and a bit' legend, Aeneas landed, precisely in Lavinio, today also called Lido di Enea. The location of the villa, which makes it advisable but not essential to have a car, is an excellent base for your visit to Rome, with the advantage of accommodation in the open countryside away from the chaos and congestion and pollution big city. To get to Rome we suggest you arrive by car to EUR, important and interesting suburb south of the city, and then take the metro. In particular, you should take in the vicinity of the villa Via Laurentina and hence the Pontina (SS 148) which continues as Via Cristoforo Colombo in Eur, where there are several metro line B metro (Laurentina, Eur Fermi - most recommended - Eur Palasport, Eur Magliana) and where you can easily park. The total distance by car is about 30 km with a travel time of 20-25 minutes. Another solution is to reach by car or train from Santa Palomba-Pomezia or to Campoleone both about 15 minutes away and from there take the train to Rome Termini (website hidden). The Fiumicino airport is about 40 '. In addition Nearby Rome there are many things of interest and amusement. Here are some references: the Zoomarine water park between Pomezia and Torvaianica 15 ' the Landriana Gardens in Tor San Lorenzo 15 ' the Castelli Romani 30 ' the Manzù Museum in Ardea 5 ' Anzio and Nettuno to 25 ' the Gardens of Ninfa 30 ' the Shopping Village with a factory outlet stores of major fashion houses in the Castelromano Pontina to 20 ' Ostia Antica Ostia Lido and to 25 ' the rock and the natural park of Circeo to 60 '.

Cercavamo una soluzione di appartamento senza troppe pretese e comodo logisticamente .Muovendoci in moto ,era situato in posizione ottimale per i posti che volevamo visitare .Alloggio ben pulito e ordinato .Dario una splendida persona , molto disponibile e allo stesso tempo molto discreto e non invadente . Se dovessimo ricapitare in quelle zone ,sicuramente prima di cercare altro vedremo se c'è la disponibilità ancora per questo luogo .

We had a wonderful time! Francesca is super kind and responsive. Her home is beautiful - we loved the decor and plants. It has everything you need and has nice outdoor seating too. Parking is right out front. The beach is right there. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach you can walk to. Highly recommend!

For the end of our travels we were looking for somewhere to relax and take it easy, Giuseppe’s property fit that need perfectly. The pool is amazing and the property is extremely well kept. The cabin we stayed in was large and clean, the shower had fantastic water pressure. Would definitely recommend.

Abbiamo alloggiato la settimana che va dal 18 al 25 agosto... Eravamo due famiglie ci siamo trovati benissimo la villetta è fantastica soprattutto un patio dove poter mangiare e stare in giardino a prendere il fresco la sera...la casa è dotata sia di lavastoviglie che di lavatrice,ogni stanza ha l'aria condizionata...casa in posizione strategica in un attimo al mare e in un'attimo si può visitare Roma andare all isola si Ponza ecc ecc... Giuditta una persona fantastica mi ha aiutato su ogni mia richiesta mi ha trovato persino parcheggio in centro Roma ristoranti dove poter mangiare insomma che dire siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti... Consiglio la villa di Giuditta a tutti...

La casa di Lorenzo è davvero carina e di recente costruzione. Confortevole, molto silenziosa e pulitissima. Ha due gradevoli affacci con giardino e ben attrezzata di tutto, cucina nuovissima dotata di forno e lavastoviglie e ha anche a disposizione lavatrice e asciugatrice. Tutti i principali servizi della zona sono facilmente raggiungibili e alle spiagge ci si arriva anche a piedi. Lorenzo e la sua famiglia sono gentili e discreti, molto disponibili a rendere il soggiorno più che piacevole.
