Lake house holiday rentals in Torch Lake

Me and the boys had bachelor weekend at Jason’s house! The pictures still don’t explain the full picture, the house is simply GORGEOUS. I will recommend Jason’s house to friends and family and will be back anytime I visit TC! Thank you Jason for letting us use your home.

This house is just as promised in all the photos. A beautiful house with a gorgeous view. Kitchen was equipped with all you need to do cooking or dining in while staying. All the spaces were clean and tidy with all the little things thought of like little throw blankets in the living areas to use, to puzzles and family & group friendly games. The hot tub overlooking the private lake access was perfect to enjoy in the evenings. Also the location! Cant beat it, close enough to downtown Traverse City to enjoy all the shopping and restaurants but far enough up on the peninsula to be close to many wineries and the downtown Sutton Bay area. We would definitely recommend this house and will be back when were in the area again.

House location was 12/10. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Walking distance to trails and sits right on the lake. Kids loved playing in and on the water with the kayaks provided. Would highly recommend the home to family and friends and would stay here anytime our family returns to the area. House was as advertised and Joe was very responsive and offered local trails and areas to eat.

Lovey home. Beautiful location. Very clean. Amply stocked. Great communication. For those who have problems with many stairs…. This is NOT a good fit. There are twenty steps each time you enter or leave the home. Outside there are more stairs to move to the lower level.

From beginning to the end of our stay, this home was exactly what we wanted for a private celebration. There were 7 of us and we each really liked this place. We could walk to town which was super fun or just hang out in the backyard . Some of us did the sauna and some just sat around the bonfire. As we were sitting there several times deer walked by. It was in town but felt very secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend and would stay here again

Not even sure where to begin! We booked this for my friends low-key bachelorette party and it was the most perfect place for us to relax and unplug! Shana was an amazing host, always communicating via the app in a very timely manner. The house was pristine and SO cute! It was clean and stocked with everything you could need (paddle board, kayaks, life jackets, wood, spare tooth brushes, ample towels, kitchen items, coffee were some of our favorites). The ONLY complaint - which is to no fault of the host - is that the mosquitos were thick at all hours of the day so be mindful of that :) have already reccomended this place to many friends and hoping I can back here soon too. 10/10 recommend!

The area is peaceful and beautiful. The home had plenty of amenities, from kayaks, a hot tub, basketball hoop, games, parking, etc. It is a perfect place for a family get together. We are outdoor people who took full advantage of the swimming beaches nearby, hiking and biking. Sheri was a great host. Highly recommend!

This place is in beautiful location on the shores of Lake Leelandau, about 20 minutes from Traverse City. There are several wineries close to the cottage as well as the quaint village of Leeland. The weather wasn’t the best during our trip so we weren’t able to use the fire pit or sit by the lake but overall we are happy with this location.

House was just perfect. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Reasonable distance from Traverse City and attractions such as Sleeping Bear dunes. Amazing surroundings and environment. Comfortable beds too. The hot spa was a bonus. Thank you for the gift of wine and Cherry Republic chocolate! Both locally made! We enjoyed our stay!

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

My family really enjoyed our time here! House was just as pictured and the scenery was beautiful. It was a perfect place to unwind and relax.

Where do I start… this was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband and our fur baby. The house was exactly as described and is placed in the most peaceful neighborhood - while also being minutes away from everything Traverse City has to offer! Ramy is the most wonderful host; answering all our questions and suggesting some great local spots as well. We felt immediately at ease and truly could enjoy our vacation thanks to Ramy and this perfect lil home. We hope to be back next time we visit Traverse City! ☺️

This house was so stunning. I had a group of 13 friends and family and we enjoyed the house so much! The location is perfect, 2 minutes from the supermarket, and 5 from the downtown. We played golf every morning in the backyard, with the clubs and balls provided, and the bonfire at night. Everyone played with all the arcade games (the golf one is so fun) and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We are already discussing coming back next year :) I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Torch Lake/Bellaire

We LOVED this place and will return! We came during Thanksgiving week and it snowed that night and it was wonderful waking up seeing snow on the ground and on the lake. It was beautiful sipping coffee looking out the window. Our dog Luna loved it too and the snow! Patrick, the host, thought of everything you could need. We loved the book they put together telling us all the things we could do. It was like a road map to Atlanta. They responded to any of our needs quickly. We will come back again in the summer to take advantage of the boats to fish!

We absolutely loved this property! The space was so clean, organized, and cozy. Not to mention the interior design was spot on! Every nook and cranky was decorated beautifully. It had everything we could have needed for the weekend. The view of the lake is spectacular, too. I will most definitely be booking here again in the future!

Carrie was an amazing host from booking the reservation to making sure check out was a breeze. She was so accommodating and friendly, I felt like I was talking with a friend. The home itself is beyond describable. Every room was immaculate and the backyard views will be something we never forget. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the big, private beach and water! I’m so happy we decided to spend our last vacation as a family of 3 here! We are already planning our next visit with Carrie when the baby arrives. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!! We highly recommend this home!

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views of the lake!

Empire Beach House was amazing! The location was convenient and easy to find. It’s next to the public beach and boat launch, but noise and traffic one would expect were a non-issue—just low key, friendly locals who respected the private beach and took great pride in the natural beauty of the area. The house itself is spotless, incredibly organized, very comfortable and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and appliances. The views from the deck overlooking Lake Michigan and the Dunes to the North and South were jaw dropping. Spent more time there than anywhere else. We highly recommend the Empire Beach House for families and friend groups of 4-6 ppl. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Exceeded expectations. Close to Boyne Mountain. Kitchen was stocked better than any other rental I’ve stayed in. We would definitely stay there again!

Pure heaven! One of the most peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable stays we’ve had! Pristine interior with outstanding views of lake, every amenity (including beach toys) we could have wanted. The perfect couples getaway to recharge our batteries. Would be great for young families too. Bass Lake is divine for kayaking among the lily pads and loons, watching the sunsets, or just chilling on the deck. My husband was pouting all the way home as we hated to leave. Check-in was super easy, everything was top notch start to finish. Can’t wait to rebook next year.
