Great place for a get way, bring all you need before coming. Get a jeep and go off roading on the budweiser trail. Overall it’s fun.

Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

What a welcoming little home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed, including lots of recommendations for local things to do. We enjoyed walking to the Saturday morning farmer’s market and picked up some locally made soaps, pasta, and sweets! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated…a relaxing color palette with mid century modern touches throughout. We enjoyed morning coffee while watching the chipmunks and birds play outside. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

This is a one of a kind property. It’s a safe place for the kids to run around and explore. We loved the disc golf so much.

Place was absolutely perfect. We were attending a soccer tournament and the location was perfect. The fenced in backyard allowed my dog to live her best life as she thoroughly enjoyed being able to run off leash.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the very beginning, Terry was incredibly kind and accommodating—when I mistakenly booked the wrong night, she graciously shifted our reservation at no extra cost. That level of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. The home itself was spotless, beautifully organized, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks, bottled water, and even breakfast items like pancake mix. Communication was seamless throughout—Terry was always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Though we didn’t get a chance to use the porch and grill, both were clean, tidy, and ready for guests to enjoy. This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for stay. We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

The treehouse was a beautiful house in the woods. Loved all the snow and the views from the house were beautiful. Close to all the Schuss Mt. Villages. Downtown Bellaire was close by. House has everything we needed. We did have access to all the pools at the resort. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

This was probably the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in to date. The cleanliness was near pristine, it had anything you could possibly need (the water station was a lifesaver!! And so thoughtful too). She provided multiple recommendations of activities to do nearby with my family, places to eat, and great instructions for being able to use the amenities within the community. Not to mention the home was beautiful. It was perfect for a getaway and I would absolutely consider booking again if I were ever in the area. We didn’t have a dog with us, but I love that they also had a large dog kennel on site for those that do bring a dog. Overall, a wonderful stay and experience!

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

We had a great time at the cabin, the hosts and cabin are top notch and would highly recommend this place to anyone considering.

It was exactly how it was listed. It was very clean and tidy. We had everything we needed provided to us by the host. Andrew was very responsive to any questions I had. He was willing to work with us on changing the nights we were staying. Very easy to work with! I would recommend staying here for sure and will be back myself! Thank you!

Jayne and the Robins Nest is an absolute delight. The cabin is located right off the road easy to find. The location is beautiful and secluded, with a stream running through the back of the lot. Tons of foliage(ferns and small pines) and downed trees which add to the charm of the cabin. It's truly like living in the middle of the woods. Jayne was amazing very accommodating and attentive to any of our needs. such a lovely host!! The cabin is quaint and lovely on the inside the wood stove was our favorite part of the stay. Composting toilet was a bit unusual at first but is just fine after the initial go. we will definately be back again to visit this wonderful off grid adventure.

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place and the great host. They were highly responsive before and during our stay. When I saw the photos, I thought it was too good to be true - but it wasn’t - everything was as exactly described and as pictured. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely go back and have already recommended to multiple friends in the area. This place is the best!!

We had an amazing experience at the cottage! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, the private dock was perfect for cooling off and taking our canoe out. Kevin and Pat were amazing hosts They left us little goodies/snacks and we had plenty of coffee, cream, sugar etc for us to enjoy on the screened in porch! The beds were super cozy and the ac unit and fans did their job when we needed them. All around we reccomend this place to anyone looking for a cozy stay in an absolutely beautiful location! We would 100% stay here again.

Michael was very responsive. He had courtesy to text before coming to the cabin. He has a great personality and very friendly. The cottage was beautiful, clean and peaceful which is what we were looking for . We had such a relaxing time that we are planning for next years trip and staying there. We had cottage 1 and what a beautiful view of the lake. My husband was able to fish with boat provided and enjoyed himself.. Overall wonderful experience. Thank you Michael.

Had a great time staying here! Close to Charlevoix, all the ski resorts were drivable too! The stay was very cozy, the area is very peaceful and quiet. Getting in and out was easy. Would highly recommend!
