Herve was a great host from booking to during our stay. He was informative, helpful, and super friendly. His house is beautiful, in a great location within the centre of Montflanquin. Just a minutes walk uphill to the square where some amazing restaurants are. The house had everything you needed. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, condiments, washing up facilities. Brilliant open dining/living area upstairs. Stairs are very steep, but we knew this beforehand. downstairs (ground level) is really spacious, plenty of hangers,wardrobe space. bathroom has a large area to store toiletries. would highly recommend Herve and his place. The accommodation is really very pleasant, it is well equipped and everything works very well. We had a great time thanks to Benoit's directions. The big highlight being the environment which is really nice!! I recommend 100%

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

We had a great weekend at Margaux's place. The accommodation is perfectly in line with the photos: clean, well maintained and very pleasant to stay in. The spa, as well as the charming cabin that houses it, is of high quality and invites you to relax. The garden, nicely landscaped and neat, is a real little haven of peace... and what a pleasure to see the little chickens frolic there freely! Margaux and her spouse are caring hosts, responsive and available. Communication was smooth from start to finish. The bed is very comfortable and the master suite is simply superb. Small downside: the proximity to a road brings a little noise, but it does not spoil the experience, as the place is pleasant. We'll be happy to go back! Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Pool was amazing for the kids and a little bigger than it looks in the photos. Comfy beds, lots of storage and fresh towels with blankets to wrap up in on the evenings.

From our initial enquiry Thomas was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Thomas and felt straight at home. The house itself is equipped with everything you would need and the decor is lovely throughout. The area around the house is vast and there are many different spots to sit and relax. There is some traffic noise to be heard from the road. From the canoes sailing down the river to the hot air balloons and the incredible scenery, it’s just magnificent. The house is well situated near to dozens of local villages, gardens, castles, shops and restaurants. We weren’t short of anything to do for the 2 weeks we were here. Thank you for creating such a beautiful home in the Dordoigne.

Fantastic location for exploring Bergerac. Beautiful apartment with all of the comforts and conveniences you would expect. The hot tub is a real bonus.

The accommodation is located in the countryside, quiet; ideal for resting, even for a single night. The welcome by the owners was very friendly and having a cold beer in the refrigerator when we arrived was a nice little extra.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished (choice of colors, organization of spaces), kitchen equipment and dishes are in sufficient quantity. The location in the city center is particularly pleasant for enjoying the city and getting around on foot. The apartment benefits from double glazing, sometimes necessary when there is musical entertainment nearby, and ensures, with the shutters, a pleasant coolness in the apartment, in case of high temperatures. The terrace is a real complement for outdoor dining. Not to mention the free parking available for the duration of your stay. A big thank you to Florian and his team.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

We had a lovely four night stay in Cahor at Josy's flat. The location was great for both walking into the old town (the Cahor Wed & Sat market is much better than Sarlat) and for driving out into the countryside to explore the Lot region. While we chose this for the private parking, the flat was large, well-equipped, quiet, and very comfortable. It was a treat to have a clothes dryer as well as a washer. Josy was a helpful host who we enjoyed meeting. No hesitation in recommending this place!

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.
