The house is a delight. Spacious and full of charm and character. Had everything we needed as far as amenities. Plenty for cooking, playing games, a few interesting books as well. It’s a good location, too. Most everything was easily walkable, including the city’s cultural center, and the stadiums where they have basketball and futsal games (go Electrico!). We also visited a nearby winery and used Ponte de Sor as our launching point for daytrips to Tomar and Evora. I contacted Luis a couple of times during my stay and he responded quickly every time. He was 100% committed to ensuring I had a great visit. I would definitely stay here again. Luis was one of the best hosts I’ve worked with.

Ficámos rendidos ao charme desta pequena casa alentejana, que preserva a alma antiga com um toque acolhedor. Ao entrar, sentimos logo aquele fresquinho bom que faz toda a diferença nos dias quentes — e que nos fez sentir imediatamente em casa. O pátio é um verdadeiro refúgio, perfeito para refeições ao ar livre e momentos de tranquilidade. A casa está bem equipada e tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. A dois passos há um supermercado e uma loja de enchidos excelentes, e adorámos integrar as caminhadas pela aldeia na nossa rotina. A Maria João foi uma anfitriã atenciosa e generosa — até nos ofereceu uma garrafa de azeite da família, um gesto bonito que levamos connosco na memória. Recomendamos vivamente!

We enjoyed our stay at Pedro & Carla’s. We have an infant and the hosts provided everything we needed for the baby. They were quite friendly and communication was very good. We stayed over a week in this unit. The place was bright with open space and quite comfortable, though it is quite humid in that area and without AC it felt a bit damp…we had some issues with drying clothes… but this is not specific to this unit. We like to cook a lot and felt a few things were missing in terms of kitchenware but Pedro and Carla provided some additional items promptly. This unit is at the rear of a courtyard which makes it a bit more secluded and quiet. The pool in the backyard was not in working condition but it was too cold at this time of the year. The neighbourhood seems a bit abandoned but all services are at walking distance. Overall we are quite happy with our stay!

Every corner of Florbela’s property radiates peace, beauty, and care. And Florbela herself? An absolute gem. Her warmth, communication, and attention to every detail went far beyond anything we expected. Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. Thank you, Florbela, for creating this little piece of heaven - we’ll be back without a doubt! ❤️❤️❤️
