The house is secluded on a lake plot on the island of Tranholmen - a car-free idyll that is separated by a narrow strait from Norra Djurgården and Stocksund. The island is reached by ferry (8 min) from Ropsten where the subway goes. In winter, there is a footbridge to the island.

The house is located on the car-free island of Tranholmen in Danderyd, an island with a bridge now (from November 1 - April 15) and SL ferry (8 min) ToR subway "Ropsten." The house is close to the city, the university, KTH, Karolinska, Kista, Solna, Sundbyberg, Täby, Lidingö. The island is 3 km in circumference, has 200 households, 400 inhabitants. Rowboat is available to borrow to row across the strait

High location with lake views in several directions. Two large terraces with both morning and evening sun. Very child-friendly with playground, soccer field and sandy beach a couple of minutes from the house. Large trampoline on site. The house is reached by SL ferry from Ropsten or by pool rowing boats from Svanholmsparken, Stocksund.

My guest house consists of a bedroom and a wood-burning sauna. Lovely balcony and outdoor shower. In the 15 sqm cottage there is a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, porcelain, coffee press and kettle for easier cooking. On the deck, there is a gas grill. Wonderful waterfront views. Sun all day and magical sunsets. Suitable for two people, and if you appreciate sauna and swimming, this will be perfect. Located on the island of Tranholmen, where you can go by ferry 80 from Ropsten, 1/11-15/4 via footbridge from Stocksund.

Experience island life in central Stockholm! If you want to get away from the big city but still be in the middle of central Stockholm, our house is the right gem to rent. With only 15 minutes drive or municipal boat traffic, you come out here to the tranquility where you can enjoy water, wind and wonderful scents from nature. The house is located on its own island without a municipal connection, but it is easy to get help across the water, as long as you announce your planned trips in advance.

We also offer an add-on spa & wood-heated sauna in eveningtime.

In 20 minutes, you'll be at Stureplan. After a match on Tranholmens first-class tennis court, a sauna and swimming in Saltjön are invigorating.
