Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Traverse City

Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this home! The host was fantastic, and the accommodations were everything we could want. The host supplied every amenity listed, plus more that you didn't even know you might need. Excellent location, very quiet, plenty of space. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Traverse City.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Nick’s space was perfect for our last minute girls trip! Close to everything, clean, and we all said the beds were super comfortable. I would definitely book this space again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seeblick Haus. What a special location and home. The kitchen was well stocked, the views were great, and the house was cozy. I especially loved how it glowed at night with lots of diffused light. Thank you for opening your home for us and others!

Great location, easy to find, and clean. We enjoyed staying here over memorial day weekend. Troy was super communicative and reached out to make sure our stay was logistically easy and also comfortable. The house is large with beautiful windows and comfortable to stay in!

We had a great time staying at Debra and Greg place! They were wonderful hosts and responded very quickly. The house was nice and had everything we needed! Having the dedicated parking spot was convenient. I will note that the street in front of the house does get busy during the day. Other than that, it’s a nice location close to everything you could want.

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend away at Paula's unique property. We ate at a few of the restaurants; it was nice having multiple options nearby. We went hiking and explored the beautiful grounds. We also enjoyed some time on the porch. I would definitely stay at Paula's place again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Love, love, LOVE this little apartment! It was so homey and cute. Handicap accessible, which is a must for us on this trip. My SIL could easily navigate her mechanical chair through the area as it was so open. The beds ended up being too high to move my SIL in and out of, but the pull out couch was perfect height. All the beds were so comfortable- we all commented on how it was the best sleep we’ve all had in a while. Stacey was super awesome to work with and quickly responded to messages. Easy check in process. And, we could walk to the softball tournament. The only bummer is that we didn’t have enough time to walk to the art fair next door. We walked to the park, walked to get ice cream & Starbucks- great location! Strict 10pm “quiet time” was a non-issue: we were so tired every night, we went straight to bed. Great stay in Traverse City. Thank you, Stacey and Roy!

Top of the Shoppe Apt 1 was great! Perfect location to enjoy downtown and parking at the apartment was a plus. Just above the Omelette Shop which made for an easy, delicious breakfast each morning. At times it could be a bit loud from the local bars music, but to be expected with the location (didn’t impair our sleep though) Would highly recommend if you want to be able to walk the main areas. Short drive to the dunes and a very short walk to a beach. Definitely set up for 2 adults but does have a pack n play for a toddler/infant if needed.

We are so happy that we stayed at TC Rock Shop! The place iself is so cute—very cozy!—and the location was minutes to downtown shops and restaurants, with the bay literally across the street! We spent a lot of time walking around the cute neighborhood, and enjoying the sunsets on the water. We went to an art fair and Sleder's Tavern (my parents' old fave in the 70s) right down the street! The apartment was the cleanest AirBNB I think we've ever been in, which was hugely appreciated. It was quiet at night, the bed was super comfy, and the towels smelled wonderful! We really appreciated the snacks, tea, and bottle of local Crisp wine (yummy!) they kindly left out for us. Although we didn't make use of them, we noticed a number of amenities that would be appreciated by other guests — umbrellas, cooler, beach gear, a pack and play, etc. We really loved this place and will hopefully stay here again on a future trip to TC!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The location is perfect and the accommodations made our young family feel at home. Just about everything was walkable, including Clinch Park, and the parking garage and path to the condo was stroller friendly. Would definitely want to stay here again the next time we’re in town. Natalia clearly has paid attention to every detail to make the stay relaxing and comfortable.

Carrie's place was perfect for our long weekend in Traverse City. It was walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It was also spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely go back to Carrie's place again if we make it back to Traverse City.

Awesome place to stay and relax. A place to simply park your car and walk to everything the city has to offer.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The condo is in a great location. Saturday morning we took an easy walk along the lakeshore to the downtown farmers market. We were able to easily walk from front street business district to the condo as well. We will definitely come back to this condo on our next visit to TC!

We had a great time during our visit to Traverse City and Jennifer’s condo at the Capri was perfect for our stay - close to Front Street and some our favorite places like Firefly, Rare Bird and The Parlor. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The Airbnb was very modern & clean. We enjoyed the hot tubs on the rooftops. Very centrally located to downtown & wineries. We’d stay here every time visiting TC! Thanks again!!
