This is definitely the place to stay in Italy! The house contains fun decor and is surrounded by the beauties of nature! The host was very kind and generous and provided a warm welcome for my family! We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again! If I could, I would give this place more than 5 stars!

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund, Focaccia, was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening while enjoying the beautiful sunset. 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me very valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

Alberto and his wife were incredible hosts, they welcomed us to a corner of paradise in the middle of the Oltrepò Pavese hills, in their family home. The farmhouse is a piece of history and tradition, completely renovated a few years ago, with every comfort and service. Living room with kitchen and huge sofa bed, double bedroom renovated in the old barn with incredible views of the hills, a fine wooden staircase that connects the entrance to the upper floors, a cellar room where you can immerse yourself in the memories of a bygone era. The house is very large, also suitable for large families like ours. The view from the terrace is incredible and the relaxation we spent in the pool was priceless (saltwater pool, very rare!). Alberto is a man of rare sociability, he involved us in the stories of various anecdotes, both concerning his family and the surrounding areas. He gave us valuable advice about the area and the activities available. Thanks!!

We were only there for one night in transit, but we can also recommend the accommodation for a longer period. Loving details in the apartment, quick response to messages and personal reception in the late evening are, in our opinion, top criteria for recommending the host. We were very pleased.

It's not just the place we were hosted, it's about the welcome you received. Extreme availability to meet with great costs to unexpected needs, making available more than expected. The house is really nice, kept with great care, maintains an atmosphere of yesteryear, despite being perfectly functional. A place to stop even for the rebels on the way.

This accommodation was so incredible , I actually got teary eyed when the host opened the house up for us , We felt like we were in a fairy tale . The views are panoramic and breath taking . You can see a castle across the valley ! It’s a quiet tranquil town , with interesting history . The house is charming and decorated very tastefully . My kids are already talking about how they want to come back some day . Thank you again ❤️

Modern, clean, pleasantly cool on hot days (we didn’t even need the air conditioner).

Very clean, very modern and beautiful apartment. A working weekend away from home, made much easier by the comfort of the accommodation and the bed. Very quiet, residential area. Giuseppe is very kind and helpful, I highly recommend him!

Excellent accommodation close to everything on foot. The train station is less than 5 minutes away. Ideal for visiting villages. Fabio took a lot of time to give us tips to discover the region

Very nice place to stay! Great interior. Within walking distance from the city center. A bit tricky to park the car but once you’re parked, you’re not gonna need a car anymore anyway. Comfortable, quiet and clean, would definitely book again.

Hidden gem with spectacular views. Very friendly and supportive hosts. Cozy getaway with everything you need. Off the beaten tracks but close enough.

Paola was the perfect host. She was available when we arrived late in the evening, she made sure we had everything we needed. The house is very well stocked, it has everything you need. It has a beautiful view and a garden terrace. Although the road is narrow, it is very easy to get there. Highly recommended especially for those who want to stay away from the city or the chaos of the beaches. A place where it will be nice to return

Chiara was such a responsive, wonderful host and reminded me of the good ol days of Airbnb! She had fabulous restaurant recommendations, helped us make reservations, and made our trip to Camogli easy with kids. Apartment is up 6 flights of stairs; but the view is worth it!!! Stunning views of the sea and town. Bedrooms are quiet, the kids had no issues. AC was a welcome treat. Kitchen is small, but serviceable, had a dishwasher; we didn’t cook much and enjoyed eating out. We fell in love with Camogli and the people. We’d absolutely return and book Chiara’s place again.

Beautiful home! Easy to find and Alessandro was extremely communicative through the entire process. Would highly recommend for a family looking to explore Cinque Terre, nearby beaches or Lucca. Thank you!

The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Andrea was such a wonderful and helpful host! Had some struggles with finding a ride to the place and Andrea called people for us while being out of town! So helpful with his communication and his kindness. Definitely need to keep in mind it is a 10 min. drive from the closest town so if you don’t have a car or great Italian transportation can be tricky. We used the bus system but very particular about the timing and last rides are around 4:30pm so just plan around that! Other than that place is exactly as described, amazing views, and helpful host. Definitely recommend if you want a cozy get away and some alone time with the mountains!

We were so lucky to stay at Isabella’s beautiful space this past weekend as a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The home and surroundings was even more beautiful than the photos, and was the perfect space for a large group of friends or a few families. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and their decoration was so charming. The outdoor pool was the perfect place to spend sunny summer afternoons, along with the many terraces. Isabella herself was so warm and welcoming - from the moment we arrived we felt at home and she was able to answer any questions we had for help. We ate one evening where Isabella’s husband cooked for us and the food was so delicious and the “restaurant” terrace to sit was so beautiful. We were also very lucky to get to meet the many lovely animals including Brando and the two barn kittens - a highlight for the group. It would be our dream to return one day - thank you so much Isabella!

Alberto and Bruna were the perfect hosts. They felt like old friends when it came to leave. We loved everything about their gorgeous home and such a tranquil and peaceful garden with beautiful plants everywhere. Thank you for everything!

Located in a small picturesque village, close to the church, Graziella and Alberto's accommodation is very pleasant. Thanks to its terraces, it offers a multitude of views of the surrounding perched villages and the sea. A few kilometers from Levanto, it allows you to take magnificent walks in the Cinque Terre and find a haven of peace and tranquility in the evening. I would this property.

Paola is a friendly and super helpful host. Cleanliness in line with a country home. Location and exterior that are absolutely worth the price of the place. Perfect for parties with lots of people.

We were 3 generations, so really enjoyed the space and comfort of the house. There is not much to add to all the nice things previous guests have said about this lovely old house in a lovely place. Ivo is a delightful and very interesting host. The house is beautiful and beautifully maintained.. Be aware that the roads throughout the mountains are steep and narrow; also the coastal resorts are very busy, with parking a challenge. We took the suggestion and went to the Cinque Terre by train for the day - driving there would have been impossible! There's lots of good hiking in the area, including exploring from the door, and we did several others using Alltrails. We all loved our stay.
