Holiday rentals with a kayak in Trent Hills

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

Renne is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor seating options which was one of our favourite things. It was an amazing place to have a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year!!

Our group of ladies were excited to stay at SkySuite for a lovely weekend getaway in wine country! Saskia and Maarten have been very welcoming and always communicated with us in a polite and timely manner. SkySuite was presented to us in pristine condition, equipped with all of the amenities and supplies that you could need for a visit! It's a beautiful location in a private setting; we really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and truly appreciated the accessibility features of SkySuite. The lakefront view from the property is truly unique for an Airbnb location, you will not be disappointed! Plenty of fresh towels, clean linens, and a lot of wonderful perks including a Nespresso machine! Saskia and Maarten were very accommodating and provided too notch hospitality, without any pressure and provided us with the space we all enjoyed. We will be recommending this property to others and would absolutely love to attend this property in the future for our visits to PEC!

I had an amazing weekend getaway here! The stay was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. The sunset views were stunning, and the home itself was spotless and well-organized. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed, plus thoughtful touches like water bottles, condiments, tea, and coffee. Would recommend this stay!

Our family of 8 enjoyed a peaceful weekend here. The house was spacious and accommodated all of us easily. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Ontario and sitting on the deck while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is quite a ways off the beaten track, but it was so peaceful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We loved our stay at Doulas’ house!

What a beautiful home, right on the water! There were seven of us and the home accommodated us, no problem! Steph knew we were coming from all corners of the province and she was great at letting us check in a tad early. The place was spotless upon our arrival and was so well equipped— lots of dishes, wine glasses 🍷, towels, beach towels and plenty of “must haves” in the kitchen. We enjoyed our time out on the deck, watching the geese and swans and found the location so handy for our jaunts out to explore Wellington, Bloomfield, Picton and the Sandbanks. We would all highly recommend this spot!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

Absolutely loved my stay! The house was perfectly equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Izabella was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. Leah’s place was a dream! The pictures do not do justice to just how beautiful the property is! It was our first vacation with our 3 month old baby and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leah was extremely helpful, responsive and even though the guest house is right next to the main home, Leah was extremely respectful of our privacy and we felt right at home. The house itself was clean, with outstanding views from each window. We were welcomed by goose and swans and it was amazing. Leah has friendly cats who too came to say hello! The sunset is amazing from the property and I can for sure say that we will be back soon! Definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences so far

We had a perfectly relaxing extended weekend. Spacious, clean and practically everything we needed including a fully supplied kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to play, and loads of firewood to make the space warm and cozy. Lots of places to sit and relax inside and outside. We enjoyed the view of the lake either on the decks or inside through the large windows. Heidi was very responsive to messages and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to coming back in the fall or winter months.

Me and my boyfriend had the most relaxing stay at Meghan’s cottage over the weekend. Everything that was mentioned is included and more! This place was perfect for the two of us but can accommodate a family of 6 comfortably. Just a heads up, there are quite a bit of steps from parking all the way to the cottage and going to the dock but it’s all worth it. We also watched the most beautiful sunset by the dock and my boyfriend caught quite a bit of fish. I personally enjoyed the kayak and the N64 bringing a vintage touch! We would 100% stay here again, but definitely for longer so we can enjoy all activities included in the cottage!

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

I booked a mini Mother’s Day weekend trip with my parents and it was a wonderful experience! It was a quiet and relaxing trip, where we could just sit by the river or just chill on the couch with the windows open while listening to some music on their record player (great selection of vinyls also!). The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were super comfy and the overall space was clean. Julia was also very responsive to any questions and we love that they left little notes on how to use things around the place. Overall, a lovely stay :)

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We had an incredible stay at Michelle and Gary’s beautiful designer cottage! The space is stunning, with an amazing view that instantly puts you at ease. It truly feels like a luxury hotel—every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (just bring your food!), and the bedrooms were super comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. The layout is perfect for multiple families, with a large open area to gather and plenty of cozy nooks to relax and unwind separately. The boathouse was a big hit—it’s well-equipped with lots of water sports gear, and the dock is a great spot for fishing. An ideal getaway!! we’re already looking forward to coming back!

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

A rural cabin with unexpected modern conveniences. Everything is new and works well. Beds and mattresses are great. Rare you find great comfortable mattresses. Sheets and blankets all smart freshly washed. Perfect for my dog. Private and safe. Bbq worked great and very hot. Not one thing disappointed me about this place. The host was happy to answer any questions. Even at 10.30 pm. Thank you it was great.

We had a great time at Jeff and Jenn’s place. Cottage is rustic but very tidy and functional. BBQ is a great plus. Yard directly in front of the water, with easy access and fire pit is amazing. Surrounding nature very calming with ducks, geese, swans etc. Communication was easy as host are very responsive and super nice. Wifi works well. TV and board games available. Very well located in Prince Edward County, close to sandbanks and winery. Nothing negative. Hope to come back sometime!

We had an amazing stay here! For a group of 6 we were very comfortable and felt like we had enough room both inside and outside. The cottage was very clean, had comfortable furniture, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. The fire pit had a great view of the lake and the water was perfect (love a sandy bottom). We would absolutely recommend this cottage!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin right on the water. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind and get away from the noise of the city. The cabin itself is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and more. Waking up to the view of the water just steps from the door was a highlight, and I even spotted some local wildlife during my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat to recharge and disconnect, this place is ideal. Highly recommend.
