We were absolutely wowed by this beautiful villa. Tania greeted us in our arrival and showed us round - she was super helpful despite our lack of Spanish! Tania was on hand to help with any questions we had. The villa is well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Perfect for a family stay where we cooked and played games. The pool, pool-house and garden were fantastic and we enjoyed the sunshine. Lovely views of the hills and cows in the distance. The villa was absolutely spotless. The villa is a fairly rural location and a car would be beneficial (as Tania describes in the listing). However, we enjoyed the 20 minute walk to Lidl and taxis were available into the city. Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. The house is massive with lots of space to ‘live in’. The bedrooms are large and comfortable with well appointed bathrooms.

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Spacious house equipped for a group with shower room in every bedroom!! A superb kitchen, a well-maintained park. Nothing to say except to have to leave. Thank you to our host for your kindness.

We had a perfect stay - the house was clean, everything was extremely comfortable. Our host was very attentive, quick responses to any questions and provided us with recommendations for the area. The house is in a perfect location, quick walk to the square with local bars and beautiful scenery. We wish we could’ve stayed longer ! The perfect spot for a peaceful break.

It was a good experience. Noelia is very nice and answered all the questions. Even sending photos of what was in the kitchen so we didn't have to bring too much, etc. He also let us leave later so we took advantage of the last day. The house is incredible, it has everything you could possibly need and more. The incredible garden overlooking the mountain and the super nice surroundings. You have trails nearby, but you can also take the car and in 10 minutes you have trails with waterfalls, etc. The supermarket is a bit far away, but with a car you can easily get there and you can also visit the villages with super good restaurants, etc. The rooms are very good, everything is very clean and comfortable with views in each one. And the living room with the fireplace is really an incredible area to be at night with plenty of room. It really is an incredible house, we had a great time. Thank you Noelia for such a good experience. We'll be back!

We had a great time at Maria's place. The house is practically new, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. You can tell that it is thought out in detail to make you feel at home: from the kitchenware to the small details that the hostess has had, all very careful. We especially want to thank Maria for her close and friendly treatment, always making sure that we were comfortable and with a great flexibility that made our stay even easier, something that we value very much. The house is very comfortable, bright, quiet and is located in an ideal area to get to know the area. We definitely recommend the stay and we won't hesitate to return if the opportunity arises. A fantastic place to disconnect in a privileged setting. Ricardo and his wife greeted us with kindness and every detail. The house has all kinds of comforts and everything was very clean. Definitely a place to repeat!!

Ana's house is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. We spent three nights to visit Cantabria, and it was very good for us to travel from one place to another. Ana always answered messages very quickly and tried to solve all the problems we had. There was a problem with the washing machine and she immediately offered to wash our clothes and return them to us dry.

A beautiful house in a small village ten minutes outside Burgos, in front of wheat field. Spacious, with all amenities and a garden. Highly recommended.

The house is wonderful. Located in a very quiet area where you can rest. With nearby supermarkets, beach and mountain just a stone's throw away. A playground just few meters from the house... The house itself with its lawn area and its terrace where to spend good ratos de chat. Clean and spacious rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds... even have some other toy for the little ones. The fully flexible check-in time and Ainhoa always pending and with excellent communication. We stayed for a weekend but I would definitely come back here without a doubt. The other couple who accompanied us think the same. We truly felt right at home. Finding places like this is a real taste. Thank you for everything, Ainhoa! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Inaki was very helpful right from the beginning of our stay and could not have been easier to deal with. He looked up local taxi forms and bus routes to where we needed to go, gave food recommendations for around the local area. Replied very quickly and had an amazing home, it was even better than the photos. Inaki even left us a few basics like eggs and bread etc and some really nice lemon cake too! I couldn’t recommend him and his place enough Thankyou so much for all the help

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

We spent the weekend at Andreea's house and it couldn't have been better!! We were a group of 12 friends celebrating 30 and the place is spectacular. Both the house, which is as it appears in the pictures, even more beautiful! Like the area in which it is located, it is a marvel. In the middle of nature, with many beautiful routes to do and water activities on the lake as well. Although when we went, the season wasn't open yet, but there is that possibility. And Andreea couldn't have been nicer! He was always available and gave us a lot of recommendations. He welcomed us and showed us the whole house and was available and attentive at all times. We fell in love with this place! I hope to return soon!!

It's a great house, perfectly equipped. We don't miss anything. It is new, well-kept, and cozy. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, as are the bathrooms. Full of details: novels, board games, children's games (we were traveling with a one-and-a-half-year-old girl), welcome gifts. The outdoor area is very well maintained and very pleasant. The river in the lower part is very relaxing. Communication with Albano, perfect. He responds quickly to messages and the instructions he gives are very clear. The environment is beautiful, there are many excursions to do, both on foot and by car. Honestly, one of the best houses we've ever stayed in.
