Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Great location close to just about everything. Home was great, had everything we needed, hanging out on the rooftop was the best part!

Patrick was a wonderful host! Very responsive whenever we had a question or need. The location was perfect for a family vacation, readily accommodating seven adults and four grandkids, ages 1 to 8. Fabulous views of the lake from the house and pool deck. Our grandkids caught many fish from the dock, including a couple of nice catfish. The kayaks were easy to launch and retrieve, and our 22 foot boat fit nicely alongside the outer dock. Five stars in all regards!

We loved this property! It’s in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and everyone is super friendly. We played in the game room (a great new addition), swam in the heated pool, kayaked around the lake, made a campfire, played games in the spacious lawn, and relaxed with our kids. The beds and seating areas were comfortable and everything was clean. The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. There are a number of good restaurants, coffee shops and creameries nearby. There’s also a grocery store a few miles away that we visited a couple times for fresh fruits and pastries. If you’re considering this property- you won’t be disappointed. Between watching the lake’s heron named Harry, seeing all the turtles, frogs and wildlife… you’ll be totally relaxed. Great visit!!

Loved our stay at Kyles place! Such a fun house with tons of space and super walkable to South End area! Will definitely come back :)

We had a great stay to celebrate my husband’s first Father’s Day. It was great to have direct access to Lake Norman and we had a great time kayaking and swimming with our 10 month old. Lake Norman State Park was just 15 minutes away and we had a great little hike there.

The Elm is simply The Best !! We could not have asked for a nicer, more accommodating place to stay during our visit to Statesville, NC. Ron went above and beyond to make sure we were comfy, cozy and well taken care of during our stay. We just couldn’t ask for things to have been any better all the way around. The Peace and Quiet we found sitting on the Front Porch was priceless….. The Home is centrally located to Downtown Shopping, Restaurants and in very close proximity to the Interstate but far enough removed from it all that Peace abounds in abundance….. We highly recommend The Elm if you’re looking for a place to stay in and around the Statesville, North Iredell area. You won’t be disappointed with what you find…..

The property appears to have been recently renovated. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was great and well stocked with the basics.

I enjoyed my stay. The cottage was as listed and comfortable. I would book again when I am in the area.

The home was exactly as described and perfect for our family's visit! The space was great for our family of five. Mike was awesome, checking in to make sure everything was perfect for our stay, and he was very responsive to our question. We'll definitely look to stay here for future trips to the area. The place was beautifully decorated and clean, the location was gorgeous and peaceful. We loved the views! The beds were comfy and it was very clean.

The place felt more spacious compared to the photos. Adam was always responsive and helpful in accommodating some sleeping arrangements me & my party needed. Were in the Charolette area for tennis tournament and found the location close to highway to get around fast. And it was in a quiet neighborhood close to restaurants. The kitchen had many coffee amenities which was cool to get kick started for the day. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Thanks Adam for hosting.

Suck a gem of a home so close to Norman Lake. House was comfy, clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

This was the perfect home for our short stay in Troutman! The house was warm and welcoming, and conveniently located within walking distance to downtown. It’s spacious, with plenty of room to relax and spread out—perfect for a full house. We loved being close to downtown, where we grabbed coffee and visited a local market. Lake Norman is also just a short drive away. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful lakefront home. It was the perfect spot for our family getaway. The home is spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. We especially appreciated that all the activities were included. The fishing poles, kayaks, paddle boards, and games provided plenty of fun for everyone, and it was a relief not having to worry about extra costs or rentals. Each day brought a new adventure on the water, and our evenings were filled with games and peaceful lake views. The house had everything we needed, and the setting couldn’t have been more relaxing. We’re so grateful for the chance to create such great memories here. This is a place we’d happily return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and easy lake retreat.

Second time staying here, and I will stay here anytime I am in Salisbury..Very clean and peaceful. The host is probably the most thoughtful I’ve stayed with . If you have a chance to stay , it’s a great choice. David

We were visiting our son at Davidson College and it was close and gave a place to place board games and sit by the fire. Love the lake. Peaceful.
