House holiday rentals in Tryon

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

We had a great stay! We got to enjoy the pool one day, although I think we scared off the person staying in the suite. The house was very clean, there was plenty of room. We loved the swings on the porch and in the yard. Would stay again! The hosts were also really nice and didn't yell at me when my brother-in-law ran over their mailbox with his car.... despite them having a sign that says, "Stop, don't hit my mailbox" 🤦‍♀️

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

We stayed for a few days with our dog and loved it. The bed was comfortable, loved the yard, patio, pool and sauna/gym. It was about 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do.

It was cloudy and rainy most of our stay but it didn't matter. The house is so big and very comfortable. The indoor pool was wonderful. (They are very strict about kids not being allowed in the hot tub though.) We were able to use all of the outdoor amenities, too. The house is charming! The kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds and being able to play with the balls on the pool table. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a very calm and relaxing place. It still was close to places to eat and shop, but not too close, as we were needing a bit of a rest from an otherwise very busy week. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a place to still do a little bit of needed work. Thank you to Toni for making it easy to find, check-in, and check out when needed! Highly recommend.

This was a perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The views off the porch were spectacular!

When I left some belongings behind, Grey even kept them aside until I could get someone to pick them up. He went above and beyond and is always a great host! We always try to book his place when we are at the horse show.

Hillary’s home was so incredibly peaceful. We had a wonderful time at Lakeview and especially enjoyed the fun games that are available at the house! I brought my 2 dogs and they loved going on long walks through the mountain. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return!!

We stayed over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and located on a working farm. Very quiet location. Loved seeing the cows waiting to be fed and banging on the gate to be let in. We would love to stay again when we are back! Michael is a great host!!

We were headed to a wedding and stayed at Milas place. When we walked in we were blown away by how beautiful it was…just like the pictures. There is not one thing I could find to complain about. The downtown of Landrum is so cute. We didn’t take advantage of the city at all because we were too busy but would definitely go back and stay at Milas and check out what Landrum and surrounding area was like. Mila was very responsive with whatever I had to ask. She even saw the ac may not be working (it was) and immediately messaged me to make sure we were fine. The master bed was very comfy. If you’re ever near Landrum please check this place out. Thank you Mila for a relaxing retreat for the weekend.

This is my second time staying at this lovely house. I stay here longer term (usually around a month or so) and I love it! It’s set up nicely for long term or short term stays. The bed is super comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishware. Highly recommend especially if you are going to the horse show in Tryon, NC.

We had an excellent stay. The home is lovely and well-maintained. Nice view of the lake and a short walk to the water. Claire was quick to respond to our questions and had a helpful and friendly attitude. Lake Adger is beautiful. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at Reece's place. she was quick to respond with about questions we had. We were in town for a horse show and this was a perfect location. Gas station and feed store just around the corner. House was very clean and had a great back yard for sitting and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

The view was amazing, and the whole reason I specifically booked this house, and I was certainly not disappointed. The house was as listed, felt very comfy, was clean, everything as expected. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on coming back.

Brooke's Air BnB was perfect for our family last weekend. The house was cozy and comfortable. Brooke provided lovely amenities, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were very comfy. We loved the flannel sheets in the master bedroom! Bathrooms were clean and well maintained too. Being of German descent, and horse lovers, we felt the house was made for us! Our grandkids loved the toys in the bedrooms, the reading nook upstairs, and exploring the woods around the house. Brooke was responsive and helpful when we had questions. We look forward to a return visit soon!

We had a very peaceful 5-night stay at the house, which was very comfortable. It was clean, well stocked with essentials, and had high quality furniture, bedding, linens and towels. The neighborhood is very quiet and secluded. There was no cell signal for me at the house, but the Wifi was fairly reliable - though a little too slow for uninterrupted streaming of TV shows. One thing that was a little tricky was the lighting situation. Some labels on the light switches might help, as some seemed to do nothing, while other sets of lights (those above the bar, and the outdoor ones by the hot tub) were either broken or had switches we couldn't find. The filtered water from the fridge was also not working, and in the separate "treehouse" building (where the main TV is), the only functional source of heat was a small Dyson space heater.

I will definitely be staying at this house if we come up here again, very comfortable, clean, peaceful. Every morning we had deer in the yard. Such a great place!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at this cozy mountain cottage. The location is peaceful and quiet, offering the perfect escape, while still being conveniently accessible to nearby attractions and local spots. The cottage was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. The grill and hot tub were both in excellent working condition and added to the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. We could tell the hosts put great care into creating a welcoming experience. We continue to support our friends and the local mountain community as they rebuild, and this stay reminded us just how special this area is. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat in the mountains.
