Tea farm B&B (farm-to-table meals & tour included)

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A wonderful place up in the mountains of Kyoto. You can feel the city fade away and you are enveloped by the smell of grass and sweet tea. The tea tour was extremely fun and interesting. Daiki has excellent answers to any of your questions, and the tea and food is delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I returned 2 years later. tea moon is a wonderfully restored traditional Japanese house that is cozy clean and quiet. You can wake up with a tea bath and a beautiful view of the fields. I would rate higher if possible. Worth every dollar

Experience the Beauty of Japan &Essence of Matcha

AndriantoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Amazing stay with great host, although the walls where literally paper thin. It was definitely my expectation, but I didn't think we'd have a neighbour, the rooms were side by side, with Japanese door and washi paper covering the side, so at night we had to be very quiet so as to not bother our neighbor. But otherwise, its an amazing place, with functional kitchen, and when we asked Tomo about the availability of spices, he bought us extra salt to use! Great hospitality, with them being able to help with whatever you need or want to do in Wazuka, thanks!

The owners are amazing hosts and have a lovely home. We like especially how the house is decorated with items for small children, making them a home away from home. Our 5 year old loved the play area and enjoyed himself very much. The house have everything you need to make a meal and clean up. The location is also very close to nearby cafes and amenties. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

An authentic Japanese house (Home-stay)Room#SABI

Chieri was super kind and accommodating and easy to communicate with. The location is in a small town easily accessible to Nara or Uji or Kyoto by train! I recommend having a meal at the cafe or the beer garden, both very tasty and wonderful!

An authentic Japanese house (Home-stay)Room#WABI

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

Keihan Uji Station 3 minutes/Luxury River View/Projector

YumaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Within walking distance of Uji Station, it is in a quiet and calm place along the river, and I was very soothed from the moment I arrived😌 The interior was also tasteful, and it was a really ideal space to relax with friends! Before check-in, I happened to meet the owner and asked about the insects I saw nearby (called "Tobikera"), and it seems that they are unique to the nature-rich area that only occurs for a short period in spring and autumn. We had nothing to worry about during our stay, and the room was very clean and comfortable.Even my friends who don't like insects were able to relax👌 The communication was polite and the response was quick, and I felt the high level of hospitality. It is a lovely inn that makes you want to visit again in a different season!
