Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Tulare County

Our stay at Angels Hill was great! The perfect place to unplug and relax as a family. We have young kids (1 and 3.5) and it was perfect for them! Lots of space to play outside, the shaded deck was perfect for the 1 year old, and lots of kid necessities included (high chair seat, pack and play, plastic plates, etc). We loved adventuring around to hike and play in creeks in the area. We plan to come back!

Arriving & staying at Joanie's place is like entering Garden of Eden. Just seeing the wide smile & "ohh-ahh" from my parents who are visiting from a city country, they couldn't believe their eyes seeing real oranges on the trees!! Thanks Joanie! for making this the most memorable experience for my parents !! Bestest of Hostess !

This is the best to place to stay if you’re in or near Porterville!

Great place for our stay to visit the national parks. Spent so much time at the parks we didn’t get to chill in this great house as much as we would have liked.

We loved our stay at this property. The house was immaculate and well maintained, and featured every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. I loved the electric tea kettle so much that I bought one for my own house before our stay ended! The house is laid out in a way that is perfect for multi-family stays, with a bathroom near each bedroom. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. We had an opportunity to stay at one of the many properties geared toward Sequoia/Kings Canyon national park tourists, but ultimately chose to stay at this home in Visalia and drive a bit further to the national parks. Boy, am I glad we did. The drive to the national parks is easy and picturesque, and this home offered MUCH more space, a MUCH more private setting, and a MUCH better value overall. We also loved partrozing the local fruit stands. As a host, Linda was friendly, accommodating, responsive, and proactive in providing check in and check out instructions.

Denise and Jack were great hosts and the house was well decorated with lots of amenities. Felt so peaceful and right at home. The hosts kept us complementary wine and eggs so we didn’t have to worry about eggs for breakfast. The house was fenced at the backyard for our pet to run around or soak in the sun. The mornings were so beautiful sipping a cup of coffee outside on the deck listening to the sound of birds and animals. So many variety of birds that visit the backyard along with rabbits, squirrels and the neighbors horses. It was so relaxing to come home after a long hike and soak in the hot tub. Very convenient location to visit both Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks. All in all it was a memorable stay. Would highly recommend their place.

Thank you Vicki for allowing us to stay at your humble abode. We couldn’t of asked for anything better. There was enough space for grandson to be running around and explore every part of the house. The rooms were great! The showers were AMAZING! We did enjoy ourselves and if we ever have to come out your way we definitely will be coming back.

The place was amazing! My family & I enjoyed it very much. There were many activities for children to do indoors and the adults enjoyed the treadmill. ☺️ there was ample space. We would love to go back. Everything was perfect.

The location is beautiful—perched on a quiet hill next to a farm, and we were greeted by horses in the morning, which was a lovely touch. Best of all, it’s perfectly situated for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful and convenient getaway!

This was a great place to stay! Pam made sure that we checked in and are comfortable with our stay. She was fast in her communications. The place is big enough for a family of 4 and kids loved playing board games. The TV in living room has Netflix account so you can watch that. Kitchen is well stocked (though we did not find table salt). It is easy to buy missing items from a nearby grocery store. The Pizza Factory place is open until late; most of the restaurants close by 5 pm while some others are open until 9 pm so do check them out before you go there. Drive to Sequoia national park gate is 15 min. Overall we had a good time at Pam's place and will recommend this place!
