Holiday rentals with a kayak in Tunkhannock Township

We had an incredible stay! The location was perfect—just minutes from Jim Thorpe and so many popular Poconos spots. Wendy truly thought of everything… literally everything. Her home was stocked, cozy, and welcoming in every way. The game room was a huge hit with the whole family and kept everyone entertained, especially since it rained the entire weekend. Even with the weather, we had a great time because there was so much to do inside. It was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and hands down the most comfortable. Truly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back!

Overall a great stay, the house was peaceful and spacious. Monica was very responsive and a great host.

Perfect, last minute getaway weekend spot! Susan was responsive from the beginning and throughout our stay. The home is immaculately clean. My husband fished all weekend and caught several fish:) Sunrises from the primary bedroom and the screened in porch were a beautiful way to wake up. The weather was cool so we didn’t have bug issues but some of the screens probably need to be repaired for warmer days when you want to open the windows on the porch. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals in so we could enjoy the lake view. If you’re planning on cooking, you may want to bring some Tupperware. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed which was exactly what we were hoping for.

We had an amazing experience this past weekend at the lake house. Michael was very responsive and the house was beautiful. The kids had a blast in the game room even the men got the full throw back experience with the GameCube while it was raining! The lake was perfect and there was plenty of life jackets and water toys for us to enjoy. The community is huge but quiet, a great place to bring the kids for a getaway. We didn’t catch anything fishing but the view alone with the kayaks and canoe was great. It was peaceful, would definitely go again!

This was a great house with plenty of room for our family consisting of 3 generations - my wife and I, our 3 married adult children and their spouses, and 5 grandchildren. The little ones enjoyed the children's playroom while others enjoyed playing pool and ping pong downstairs. We could all sit together for our meals. The beds were very comfortable. There was more than enough space to park our 5 cars. The neighborhood was very nice. We would stay here again.

Stayed memorial weekend with my friends Tomer was really nice and responded back to messages very quickly house was so beautiful and kept us all busy from the game room to feeding the deer brought extra stuff and didn’t really even need it because the house had everything. The stay was comfortable and we all enjoyed ourselves. Tomer was very helpful with sending activities to do before arriving and having a drawer full of menus and attractions. Would definitely stay in the house again. Thank you sooo much once again ☺️

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

This property was exactly what we needed when looking for a weekend getaway. The house is uniquely situated on the lake where you have direct access however the property sits back a short way that provides you a bit of space for outdoor activities and also some better privacy than other houses on the lake. The house itself was not only perfect for a couples retreat but it would have been perfect for a larger group of friends or a bigger family outing. Would absolutely recommend this location if you’re spending any time in this area and I hope to rent again!

Definitely the best place to stay in Poconos mountain. The house is super clean. The location is great and the communication with Martin definitely super good. I will be back soon.

Everything was just right and matched what is in the photos. The guide book provided was so helpful to know how everything worked in the house and how to access the lake. The property was easy to find, full of wildlife to watch, clean inside, and had all the amenities of home.

Awesome Awesome stay. So much to do around the area even in early spring. The lake is great for trout fishing! Can’t wait to come back in the summer. Definitely recommend.

My family and I had a great time at Bill & Peg’s place. Their place easily accommodated the ten of us, and we felt right at home. We also really appreciated their flexibility with check-in and check-out times. We would certainly return!

Bianks place was cute and exactly as pictures. The beds were quite comfortable. The house was right across the lake for fishing! Kitchen was stocked well with spices, grill had propane, and toiletries were left for us. The jacuzzi came in Handy especially since MDW ended up being quite cool. Overall our stay was good!

10 stars! Beautiful home, location and amenities. Everything was spotless from the floors to the ceilings (and I am particular about that). The property description even missed out on some of the extra touches they offer like heated bathroom, endless cookware, shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, etc. The host is truly the nicest and most professional host we have ever worked with. We contacted Don a few times during our stay and in less than 10 minutes, he addressed us, making us feel like we were his biggest priority. We couldn’t figure out how to lock the door and he graciously called us and walked us through the process. The other time was really a comment that the umbrella on the patio was broken but was beautiful and fully functional. We said we didn’t need it to be replaced but within the hour, a brand new even bigger umbrella was delivered! He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We are already talking about when we can get away to visit this home again. Highly recommend!

Timothy's cabin was so nice! It was clean, easy to find, and had great outdoor space. We felt right at home! We also appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. Would stay at his property again for sure.

We had such a great stay at this cozy cabin in Pennsylvania! It was the perfect mix of peaceful, stylish, and super comfortable. On top of being beautifully decorated and well-stocked, it was incredibly family-friendly. They truly thought of everything—we were blown away by how easy it was to travel with our 1-year-old thanks to all the thoughtful baby gear provided, from a high chair and crib to toys and books. The outdoor space was just as wonderful—we loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings and winding down by the fire pit under the stars. The cabin felt like a little retreat in the woods, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Christine’s place was amazing. We stood at the “Fika” cabin and it was great. It was super cozy and a well thought out space. It had plenty of room for me and my family. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials needed to a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway with the family without sacrificing any amenities. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the iron elk cabin. Nica was extremely responsive making it easy for us to creating lasting memories. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Beautiful all around!

Macarena's place was exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway! Nestled in a serene, tree-filled location, it truly lived up to its promise of tranquility. I booked my stay hoping for a few days of rest and relaxation, and that's precisely what I experienced. The place is incredibly scenic and has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and unwinding stay. The big projector screen was a fantastic bonus – we had a great time watching movies. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Macarena's place for anyone seeking a quiet and rejuvenating retreat.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Catia’s place. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, s’mores at the fire pit, sitting on the beautiful big covered porch. The amenities listed were all included. Catia’s guide was extremely helpful. The place is exactly as pictured. It was easy to get in and lock up when we left. We spent a lot of time exploring local spots, visited Hickory Run State Park, Hawk Falls, Austin T Blakeslee Natural Area. My boys loved the bunk beds (I loved the room darkening shades). The home was comfortable and Catia was a wonderful host.

My friends and I had a great time during the MDW weekend at Danny’s. The place was just as described and there was plenty of space for the 9 of us. We really enjoyed the game room with all the arcade games and the pool table. Would definitely come back and also recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing trip on a beautiful lake.

Had a great time at Drift House for a girls trip getaway. Karissa was super responsive and the cabin has everything you need for a fun time by the lake.
