The warmest of welcomes to a beautiful chocolate box cottage nestled in a stunning, peaceful location. Had the bonus of the spring lambs for neighbours and luckily great weather. The cottage has everything you need, private with easy parking. The log fire added to the ambience which took the nip off the cooler spring evenings. Cynthia and David are perfect hosts and make sure you are looked after. A wonderful time was had by all. Can’t wait to visit again.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Woodside cottage. The house is so well decorated and had absolutely everything we needed and more! Myself and 7 friends felt very comfortable in the house, there was plenty of space for us all. Great location just a short drive into the peaks for great hikes. Walkable to a few local pubs which we very much enjoyed. The house is fabulous, would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay! The space was bright and spacious with all the amenities you would need. The outdoor balcony was a lovely addition and the beds were really comfortable. Amy was a great host and gave us lots of useful info regarding the space and check in. My only criticism would be we didn't realise the chapel was right next to a train line which was pretty noisy during the day however we were mostly out and about and it didn't disturb us throughout the night. The location was really handy for reaching Matlock/Matlock Bath and we went during Solstice weekend and used the chapel as our base and was able to reach the nine ladies stone circle Park up within half an hour. Thanks Amy!
