The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

Fa parte di Villa Canata (Le Stelle di Lacona), una dimora del XVIII secolo, e offre un ambiente rilassante con una vista mozzafiato sulla baia. Lettini, ombrelloni e kayak sono riservati agli ospiti. A pochi passi si trova anche la piccola spiaggia di Canata, più appartata, perfetta per chi cerca tranquillità.

The house consists of a living room with fireplace, 5 bedrooms for 10 beds (4 double and 1 twin), 4 bathrooms (1 bathtub, 3 showers), equipped kitchen and internal patio.

The apartment consists of an entrance, furnished kitchenette, double bed and single bed, as well as a large bathroom with a large shower. The apartment is accessed via a flight of stairs and a final spiral staircase; the external elevator from the garage reaches the spiral staircase. The recently renovated apartment is located a short walk from the center and the boarding area for the Tuscan archipelago. No pets.
